The chilkur balaji temple is one of the most visited temple of Hyderabad. It is at a drive of 40 mins from Gachibowli via ORR. The temple has a descent big campus and is always filled with pilgrims. The best time i would suggest is either early mornings or around 7 pm in evening to avoid rush.
It is also called passport balaji and people believe that visit to this place fasten the process of getting passport and visa to other nations.
Outside the temple premises small market is stationed where you can buy local fruits, bangles, iron and aluminium utensils and other household stuff.
Parking is not a problem here and it's easy to reach. But, do check timings while you plan to visit success it closes a little early in evenings.

Chilkur Balaji Temple is popularly known as "Visa Balaji Temple''.
It is an ancient Hindu temple of Lord Balaji on the banks of Osman Sagar in Ranga Reddy District.
This temple became popular recently as “Visa Balaji Temple” as it is believed that the devotees who pray in this temple will be successful in securing VISA for overseas.
Once the prayers are fulfilled (which happens normally within one year) the devotee has to visit here once again for the thanksgiving ritual (i.e. circling the temple 108 times). The main deity is BALAJI which is very beautiful and powerful. It is worthy to note that there is no VIP line for darshan here. All devotees will have to follow same que. Hence in spite of the huge crowd the line moves faster and the darshan could be completed in half an hour.
There is a beautiful shiv-Linga just outside the main deity temple. One should not miss it. It looks gigantic and powerful.
Overall, it is a must visit temple in the outskirts of Hyderabad.

This temple is located in Chilkur village about 1 hour from Hyderabad city. As you enter the village the stress arelined with different small temples. Typically Tulsi Mala and coconuts are offered to lord Balaji here. You can also light divas in small earthen pots. We visited on Kartik Ekadashi. The entire experience of doing 'Pradakshina' while a priest chanted holy mantras was truly devine and delightful.

I am giving 5 stars because before I went here I did not know it is known as Visa Balaji. We just visited there as our friend was visiting this place. And there is a belief if you want to work abroad you should visit this temple and pray then your wish will be fulfilled. Surprisingly soon after visiting this place my husband got a project in USA and we went to USA.
Should definitely visit this place again and offer our 108 pradakshine now. Going around the temple 108 times.

This is a very nice temple to visit. One can feel presence of lord in this temple. Highly divine feeling.
This is the only temple in South India with no VIP darshan.
Amazing fact is there is no hundi in this temple.
A small market is there for kids to buy toys.

The most powerful God is venkateswara swamy. This place is also called as Telangana Tirupati by some people and We(Devotees) believe that god fulfills every dream and we do pradikshinas as a gratitude.
One cannot explain the God's power in these reviews like this.
Definitely a must visit place in Hyderabad

It is a very famous Vyshno temple in Hyderabad. This temple god is famously known as Eamcet god and Visa God. Here if any ones wish came true then they will do 108 PRADAKSHINA's here (Round about the temple) The specialty of this temple is there is no HUNDI here. They never accepts Money in this temple instead asks to serve the poor people or spread the word of god by giving books of god.

Hi, My friends and I are located in the U.S. and I cannot visit in person but wish to send my prayers and wishes to the revered Chilkur Balaji Temple in Hyderabad, India. I need someone to provide a service that includes writing down our specific prayers and wishes, performing the prayer rituals on our behalf, and ensuring that your heartfelt desires are presented at the feet of Lord Balaji. I can pay for this service
