Best beach in Honduras
Oct 2020
This is the cleanest part of the Tela beaches. We highly recommend you go for a run or bike ride along the whole coast, you can see one side from the other and you get beautiful views! Unfortunately, some of the other beaches have a lot of trash on them.

If you find an American sleeping on the beach, go for his bag. He'll probably wake up and notice you but you can always talk your way out of it. These people are known for live streaming or video chatting on their cell phones while they walk around the beach and they are very annoying.

If have seen many nice place and beautiful beaches but this really was awesome. In one boottrip you can visit different paradisiacal beaches, see wild life. Worth every penny.

Mainland Paradise

The best vacations yet, in my own country didnt know we had such beautiful places. The tour we grabbed took us to a natural rock tunnel and the boat left us there and picked us up on the other side, soooo great.
Then they took us to the park which was not so great, too many mosquitoes bothering all the walk, took enough repelent but still got some bites. Not so many rare animals, a few monkeys and got to watch your step. The boar ride was filled with beautiful sights with mountain and blue water.
The best part was the Cocalito Beach, where we could see the coral reefs and a lot of beautiful and colored fish, sea star and other super cool fish. The water was like a pool where you could see the bottom, very clean and peaceful. The beach was clean too and the food was great, fried fish, plantain and rice and beans.

Punta Sal is Paradise!
May 2018 • Family
Jeannette Kawas National Park, aka Punta Sal National Park, has the best beaches in mainland Central America. Turquoise waters in a lovely, hidden setting. This is one of most beautiful places on earth!

You can go for a hike and experience wildlife in this the tropical untouched jungle.

A couple of local families offer a typical Caribbean lunch and drinks.

Takes about 45 minutes by boat to get to this natural paradise, there are several tour operators in downtown Tela that offer this day trip.

We took a boat to the punta sal. The boat took us some part of the island and we walked to the jungle with a guide. The other side of island, we could swim and drink beer with comida pescado. was good!
