The large park dates back to the late nineteenth century and is located close to the black sea and the boulevard. It has a large lake with a fountain in its center. Boats are available for rent if you want to go for boating in the lake.

There is a dolphinarium in the park which is very popular. The park also has a mini zoo and an aquarium. The entrance to the park is through a colonnade and there are several children's rides near the entrance. Entry to the park itself is free but the attractions have their own entry fee.

I passed by the 6 May Park on my first night in Batumi. It is a short walk from Gulnasi Guest House where I was staying. The huge man-made lagoon is a favorite spot for locals to do their fishing. I see others in their swim suit I wonder if they are also allowed to swim here. Lots of benches around where you can relax.

Nice park area surrounding a fresh water lake just 150m away from the sea in central Batumi. The gardens were designed by German Reseller and later improved by Frenchman Alphonse and thus exhale a western European atmosphere, though the entertainment venues added more recently are perhaps a result of commercialization of the public domain. During Soviet times to create entertainment sites in public parks also was popular. For me it disturbes peace and quietness.

6 May 2004 Aslan Abashidze, the authoritarian leader of Ajara fled to Russia after mass protests and conflict with the central government of Georgia.

I was lucky enough to stay in buildings overlooking this park so I saw it in both day and night. Kayakers paddle on the lake, the kids play on the amusement rides and the local rest and talk in this beautiful park. Its a quiet space in the middle of a bustling city so I recommend it for some down time.

Nice park to walk around or sit down and look over the lake. The lake gave me a feeling that i was in germany for some reason. Next to the park there is also a zoo while walking in the park you can also see some animals in the cages. Also the dolfinarium and aquarium are next to the park.

this is a quiet and nice park, in front of the Batumi University and Hilton Hotel. There is a nice lake, a pet friendly park, some ice and coffee stands, boats for fee (5GEL per person), kid friendly although not many activity places. There are some paid attractions for small kids, but they are not in a good shape. many benches to sit and read.

A big park near delphinarium. There is a lake and a nice fountain with interesting design. Not a must see but a good park to relax in the evenings.
