Located in the Miracle Park, the clock tower is a replica of an Ottoman era building. It is surrounded by small pools of water on the sides. The tower has three levels. At the bottom is the entrance above which there is a galleried walkway. This is topped by the tower itself at the top of which is are the clock dials. There are balconies facing all directions in the middle of the tower. Above the clock dials is a viewing gallery topped by a golden cupola.

There are fountains on the sides of the building. As per the local people, the fountains spout local Georgian alcohol "Chacha" which gives the tower its name. Apparently, the fountains only operate at specific times and days. Unfortunately, they were not operating while I was there. But you can check out the schedule and enjoy the free "Chacha".

What I most like about this tower is the architecture and location.

It is in the seaside. Recommended, but not must see place.

Chacha Tower I think is a misnomer for this structure since it has nothing to do with chacha, whatsoever. It stands near the sea and is visible from the roadside so motorists passing by the Miracle Park along Batumi Boulevard will definitely not miss to see this city landmark.

The Chacha is Georgian alcohol drink, basically same as Grappa. The tower was built 2012 and it was planned that chacha would flow from the fountain at 7pm, later only once a week, so everyone could try chacha.
The tower is beautifully light in the night and water flows.

This Ottoman Turkish style, 25m high clock tower looks a bit lost on this vast stretch of flat land near the sea. The Ottoman rulers used clock towers to ensure people of Islamic faith would do their prayers in time (five times a day). Here in Batumi few people still adhere to these rituals.

The intention for building this replica clock tower in 2012 was rather different than that of the Ottoman sultans. Batumi wanted another tourist attraction. For this reason a choice was made for a Chacha clock tower, which was supposed to spout chacha, the traditional Georgian heavy drink. However the surrounding fountains do not even spray water and the closed structure looks neglected.and disused.

Frenchman Raymond Péré, who designed the famous 1901 Izmir clocktower in similar style, would be disappointed to see this replica in Batumi.

Just next to the port and walking distance from our hotel. Early morning, the place is empty so you can easily take a few pictures with a nice background view from this tower.
