Batumi has got about 150.000 inhabitants. Its harbour mainly shipped oil. Therefore you should not compare it with other sea ports, the more so since it is the Batumi authorities that seem to prefer tourism to the oil Industry. What everybody can see is that...More

Batumi waterfront is probably one of the main attractions of the city and it's well worth making the effort to walk along it. The Batumi boulevard park (including the Miracel Park) is all pedestrianised and convenient to walk along without the hassles of traffic to...More

This is a good place to spend time with your friends and family and friends or just walk about. This is a old Soviet time free port.

A good shady space next to the water getting the benefit of any breeze going. The food’s OK for lunchtime and it’s a good place to sit and watch the world go by.

You can start or finish your stroll of the boulevard from this point. Beautiful sea view, yachts around create a unique atmosphere of sea port. Watching tankers and ships you understand that this is the busy arteria of the city.

This is typical Soviet style, blue building, but excellent point to start explore Batumi old seaside boulevard and old Batumi itself.

Nice sea port! I personally liked it. The city isn’t that huge but nice for youth and families with so much to do by the beach.

Have a walk along the port and enjoy the sights near it. As you walk you'll find nice little statues, then you'll soon get near Ali and Nino and the Alphabetical Tower.
