Like other botanical gardens that I have visited , the garden consists of different parts in terms of originality of plants. But, what makes it interesting, is its location. The landscape of Black sea on the top of the hills is very beautiful. Tip: Choose an appropriate time for visiting due to the season and weather. It would be hot... More

The tour is actully a walk in the woods. A 3 hour tour by foot. I recommend to settle for the 2 hour option. For that you need to go by car to the next entry. Needs good weather. at least not a rainy day.

This botanical garden is almost 10 km from Batumi center. Forget about walking there, but take a mashrutka (minibus) no. 31 from the Cable Car. The mashrutka ticket costs about 1 lari (~0,3 euro) per person, very cheap. 8 lari is the entrance fee for adults. It takes about 2 hours to walk around the garden. The garden has two... More

We had our taxi drop us off at the 2nd entrance and wait for us at the bottom. This was very good advice we read about and it was well worth it. We prefer to walk and not go on the electric car as you miss the beauty of the place. I am sure it is magnificent from spring to... More

Batumi is an odd place, plain weird actually. If it weren't for the botanic gardens, it wouldn't be worth visiting. The gardens are great, and very large. The best thing in Batumi.

This place, while remote from Batumi, is extremely enjoyable! If I remind correctly, the price was about 8laris which is pretty expensive for Georgia, but about 3,4€... The garden is just huge, prepare for a long walk and half a day trip! The view over the sea is wonderful, you just want to dive! You can take a minibus (marschrutka)... More

It is really one of the most interesting botanical gardens I have seen. It is huge and you can really get lost there. be prepared for a long walk with lots of climbing. I believe that in summer it is even more beautiful

Set aside at least three hours to enjoy the wonderful botanical gardens. It's laid out on he side of a cliff, but you can get a tram up for a little extra. Perfectly maintained in a natural way, all things growing there, look healthy and happy.
