We booked the full day out trip to Senegal and Fathala nature reserve complete with walking with the lions. What an awesome experience. Pick up at 6am and then off to Banjul for the ferry to Barra and onto Senegal. Get your passports stamped. Breakfast in the bush first - good simple food and tea/coffee. The walking with lions was... We had the most amazing day seeing the 'real' Gambia! You're collected from your hotel in an open top jeep at around 8am, cold drinks and lunch are provided. First we visited Serekunda Market which was fantastic. We walked around the mea and vegetable sections where you can see how local meat and fish is prepared (flies and all) We... More

We used these guys due to recommendations. Totally professional and they go above and beyond for your welfare and care. We cannot fault them with kindness and dedication to your well being.... More

My wife and I visited Gambia over the New Year and booked the safari trip in Senegal with Arch Tours. The booking in the office with Abdul was very easy and straightforward. We were picked up at our hotel ( Djembe ) at 6am !! by another Abdul, in a jeep , and were then taken to Banjul to cross... More

My husband, daughter and I went on the Roots trip, great day out, would recommend it, great to see the African culture and slave island. Muhammond and Bob were great and any questions answered. Very informative. Lunch on the boat was lovely and drinks cheap and we had the added bonus of seeing dolphins swim around us. Arch tours are... More

We visited the Gambia over Christmas, and found it to be one of the most interesting countries we have been to, while there we went on 2 trips with Arch Tours, the 4 in one tour and the north Senegal safari tour. The 4 in one tour compressed a lot into the day, but gave us a good idea of... More

We booked 2 trips with this tour operator and both were amazing. We went to Senegal to the Fathala Reserve in Senegal. The group was small and the guides were very knowledgeable about the local culture and the border procedures. The staff made the trip very enjoyable and I would like to personally thank Djemba Baleh, Rhino and our driver... More
