A destination not to be missed for those who go to Sharm. I recommend excursion by land with Sun International, very serious, great prices, you travel by air-conditioned coach, drinks included, with a very good photographer who takes wonderful photos both on land and in the water, 85 photos I paid 20 €. He sends them with whatsapp or at the hotel. The place is a paradise. Comfortable clothing, a towel, swimsuit, and whoever wants can rent fins and mask.

One of the best experiences I had in Sharm despite feeling sick from a drop in pressure. It was absolutely worth getting up early to be the first group during the snorkeling where we were lucky enough to see clownfish, really suggestive. The sea was very calm, which is why the seabed was fantastic, it really stuck in my heart. The door of Allah very pretty to take some pictures. The salt lake, called 'magical', really very beautiful, really changes the perception of color based on sunlight, really very beautiful, Recommendation to do it.

I had already visited this natural park twice in the past but by boat. This time I went with family by private taxi driven by the talented Abdul. A visit that left us enchanted. We snorkeled immersed in a beautiful sea with many fish although for this purpose it is better to come by boat. But by land you can admire the gate of Allah, the deep rift in the middle of the desert, the mangroves and the salt lake, ending with a visit to the Bedouin camp with a myriad of colors and fascinating genuine appearance. You cannot come to Sharm and not visit Ras Mohammed.

Coming with Tours. It takes 1.5 hours to get to the White Island island. Boat stops in 3 places. Dining is served at 2nd stop. The sea goes hungry, but it’s hard to eat. Snorkeling and scuba diving with instructor were $25 in 15 minutes on my boat( blue hole) boat name. It’s hard not to be amazed that there are so many fish in the sea and reefs. It’s hard not to say enough pages. See it.

Ras Mohammed National Park, located at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, is a breathtaking destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Renowned for its stunning coral reefs, vibrant marine life, and dramatic desert landscapes, this national park offers an unforgettable experience. Marine Life and Coral Reefs The park is a diver’s paradise, boasting some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. During my visit, I was mesmerised by the sheer diversity of marine life. From colourful corals to a plethora of fish species, including barracudas and clownfish, the underwater scenes were nothing short of spectacular. Snorkelling and diving here are must-do activities. Landscapes and Wildlife Beyond the underwater wonders, Ras Mohammed is also home to unique desert landscapes. The stark contrast between the azure waters and the arid, rocky terrain is breathtaking. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot various bird species and, occasionally, gazelles roaming the area. Facilities and Accessibility The park is well-maintained with basic facilities for visitors. However, it is recommended to bring your own supplies such as snacks and water, as amenities can be limited. Accessibility is generally good, with guided tours available for those who prefer a structured visit. Overall Experience Ras Mohammed National Park is a gem that offers a perfect blend of adventure and tranquility. Whether you're a seasoned diver, a casual snorkeller, or someone who simply appreciates nature, this park has something to offer. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt.

I recently went on a boat trip to Ras Mohammed National Park, and it was an unforgettable experience! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. While I didn’t go I tot he water due to being ill i was told snorkelling was a highlight — the coral reefs were stunning and full of colourful fish. The staff on the boat were friendly and made the trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend a visit for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of the area!

We had a great time on the boat. 3 stops at the reefs and on an island in the middle of the sea. Very beautiful and the water wasn't that cold. Great swim. Even my three-year-old son. They gave us a mask and a vest. So the fish were seen even if they weren't diving in and safe. There are a lot of people standing over you looking for safety. It was comfortable, beautiful. Also a delicious lunch.

We bought the boat tour with snorkelling and scuba diving through Best Egypt Travel. Cannot recommend this travel agent highly enough. Mr Waleed showed us the tour and exactly what was promised was delivered. Hotel pick up and drop off, seafood buffet lunch, 3 times snorkelling and a scuba dive. Prices were almost 50% cheaper than our hotel and hotel rep

A special and beautiful place to visit. Especially for our fabulous guide Amra, a very good person who works at Domina Coral Bay, on the diving sheik coast. I recommend it. Thanks also to all the staff who guided us in this wonderful excursion.

Wonderful family day with our private guide Bassem. He and his brother love and know this Park well. They make you spend a very special day and take great care of the family: delicious fresh fruit juice, Bedouin meals, private snorkeling sessions, incredible places... (Being experienced divers, they accompany you with great security whatever your level! ) Magnificent memories of this really amazing day🤗 Go there with your eyes closed! And excellent quality/price ratio too 😉 Thanks again😘 WhatsApp BASSEM +20 155 305 0376

The Ras Mohammed National Park is truly an unforgettable place, full of surprises and enchanting places and preserves one of the least damaged coral reefs. A perfect place to spend a day dedicated to the desert, the beach and snorkelling.
It is possible to visit it with an organized tour (prices from 35 to 50 euros per person), accompanied by a tour guide privately (around 130 euros) or rent a car and go alone.
We have chosen this last solution, more suitable for travelers who, like us, love independence and shopping! The roads are excellent, all three lanes in each direction and the driving is absolutely in line with European countries. The cost of the highway is 34 LE one way and 25 L and the return, in the park. The entrance is 5 usd per person and the same for the car (it is advisable to have local currency with you because otherwise they apply an exchange rate euro dollar 1/1). Even inside the park the roads, even if partially unpaved, are passable with a small car without any problem (the SUV that they will recommend to you at the car rental and which costs a little more is not absolutely necessary, just drive carefully).
After passing the entrance, head towards the visitor center, where you can find a museum with scientific information on the formation of corals and the characteristics of the park, a restaurant and an equipped beach.
Then follow the very clear directions that will lead you to the places of interest (Gate of Allah, earthquake, mangroves and snorkelling sites) you will be amazed! We entered the water at Yolanda beach from which however reaching the reef is a bit difficult and therefore I do not recommend it to those who are not expert swimmers and Shark Rock, where we were able to see one of the most interesting walls in Egypt and we met a Napoleon fish and a shark! I confess that although I have been coming to Egypt for 30 years and have been diving for just as long, I had never seen the Ras Mohammed natural park from land and it really enchanted me.

Tour with friends and with a private guide. The park is also very interesting in the internal area, which is why I recommend reaching it by land by minibus. Our local guide behaved badly, but this does not detract from the beauty of the park. Lunch in Bedouin veranda with local foods and two snorkeling dives in coral reefs of different depths, swimming in the salt lake, AR transfer from the hotel, €49 per person, including children

Family trip departing directly from the hotel by minibus at 45€ per person. I go against the tide but maybe because of the strong wind that made us give up snorkeling I was not thrilled. The door of Allah majestic but looks like the classic attraction built to make tourists take pictures. Seen from the vantage point nothing different from a thousand other views in the area, Magic Lake beyond the "tradition" brings luck there is nothing, quake split and visit to the mangroves complete the trip without even a "wow". Guide in Italian very prepared but in 5 minutes total told everything there was to tell...
The best thing was definitely the restaurant with sea view and the fish lunch included in the price.

Rent a car or hire a driver for the day, bring snorkeling & beach gear and have a great time.

Seriously avoid the tour group, pay a bit extra to get here on your own and enjoy the full day. Tour groups bring you to four or five stops. But the two beaches and snorkeling at your leisure are well worth the slightly extra expense of getting here yourself.

The main beach is not bad. But the snorkeling is pretty awesome for near shore. Avoid the tour groups to explore the reef at your leisure, bring lifejackets to float and explore extra long up the beach. Make sure you make it up to the hidden cove.

The other good area is the saline lake, higher salinity, but very smooth especially for small kids. There are a few trails for some mild hiking. Despite there being campsites, I received different answers if camping was open or overnight was permitted.

Ras Mohammed National Reserve is a natural reserve and it is the second most beautiful natural reserve in the world after Australia. It is the number one reserve in Egypt, with an area of about 480 kilometers, land and sea. Within the reserve there are many places such as Panorama, the Rocky Gate of God, and trees. Crimea, the earthquake cleft, the enchanted lake, the salt lake, Lion’s Head, the salt lake, snorkeling in the two best places away from the crowds, Yolande Reef, and the shark observatory, Ras Mohammed rock, delicious lunch in the Bedouin tent, fresh mango drink and water throughout the day, all provided. Snorkeling equipment, underwater photography, all of this was provided by Bassem, the truly expert guide No. 1. He is very knowledgeable about Ras Mohammed. He gave us a more beautiful day than we could have wanted. This is his number +201553050376. In fact, I do not like writing comments, but Bassem deserves it. Thank you Bassem. Once again, we will come back. Once again, I recommend it to all people who want a relaxing and exciting day away from the crowds

We left in the morning with a small bus, but first we made a stop to rent snorkelling fins which you are not obliged to take. We set off again and after a while we didn't even arrive at the park. The first stop was a beautiful panoramic point with a heart-shaped lake, the second stop the door of Allah, after taking photos and after the guide's explanation we headed towards the third stop, the magical lake, beautiful lake, after the explanation and the ritual we made a wish and dove in, there was black sand (difficult to find among the golden sand) and if you spread it on your skin it became smooth. The fourth stage is the earthquake cracks, the fifth is the mangroves, particular plants. Sixth stop snorkelling in the red sea, beautiful coral reef, we saw NEMO in the anemone. Afterwards we had some delicious Bedouin tea and there was a bracelet stall...then we returned to the village, the excursion lasted only in the morning so it wasn't tiring and in short a wonderful experience, recommended for everyone!!!

We are a family of 4 people and two children. After reviewing the comments here on Trip Advisor we found Bassem, this is his WhatsApp number +201553050376, he was together step by step, gave us everything, Bassem agreed to move early before the crowd, Bassem picked us up at 8.00 am from the hotel and then we went to Snorkeling equipment shop, they took goggles and fins, then Bassem insisted that we take a wet suit because he knows the water is cold this day, then we moved to Ras Mohammed. Bassem explained all the places we see and we go by car from the hotel until we reached Ras Mohammed then we went to the first stop which is Bab Allah, Bassem was a really good photographer who took the most beautiful pictures for us, then we went to the second stop which is the mangroves, then to the earthquake fault which was amazing Extremely. He explained it as depth and time, and then to the enchanted lake to take pictures. Then to Lion's Head Rock, the salt lake, and then go to the first snorkeling spot, which is Yoland Reef, Anmon City, Shark Reef. After snorkeling, we sat on the beach. Bassem served us fresh mango and strawberry drinks. Then he went to the rock of Ras Mohammed, we climbed the mountain and used binoculars to see Sharm El Sheikh, and after we finished we went snorkeling again. Bassem took some underwater photos and said it was free, then we went to the Bedouin tent and Bassem served us a delicious lunch in the Bedouin tent. That everyone around me, in Ras Mohammed loves Bassem because he is so nice and friendly After lunch, Bassem took us to relax on the pillow while we were drinking tea. After that, Basem offered to go into the water again, but after eating and relaxing, we couldn't swim again. Then back to the hotel at 16:20. Thank you Bassem for a day I will never forget. +201553050376 If you are in Sharm El Sheikh write to him on WhatsApp and you will never regret it. I highly recommend it

It's a wonderful sea, you should definitely do a short-term touristic dive. We paid 25 dollars for the boat tour H.H. We arranged it through Tours Sharm, the official Memo was very helpful, you can reach him on Instagram, he helped with other tours, it was affordable compared to other companies. The tour starts around 10:00 in the morning and ends around 17:00 in the evening, transfers are included in the tour. Photography for diving is around 30 dollars, but depending on your bargaining ability, it may drop even lower. White Island was tremendous. Luckily there was a windy sea, but it was still enjoyable. Don't leave without stopping by..

Highly recommended a visit to Ras Mohammed National park. We arranged a private trip through the highly recommended Bassem, who was absolutely brilliant.
He picked us early from our hotel and we had a full day of sightseeing, with two of the most incredible snorkelling experiences in Yolanda Reef, Shark Reef and Shark observatory.
Given Bassem is a professional diver, at no time did we feel unsafe as he guided us through the underwater beauty of these incredible reefs. The are was quite as tourist boats are not allowed to stop and drop anchor there.
As well as seeing the salt lake and mangroves, it was finished off with a delicious late lunch in a bedouin camp. Many thanks Bassem.
Genuine review for trip advisor.

We spent a pleasant day with our guide Bassem. He showed us every corner of Ras Mohammed at the right times of the day to avoid too many tourists. His experience as a diver allowed us to discover coral like no other, which provides moments that will remain engraved for life. He will even prepare you an excellent strawberry-mango juice! A big thank you to Bassem I highly recommend!!!
