Absolutely fantastic week on the liveaboard Legends boat.
For context, I'm a 47y old female Brit who loves adventure holidays but not loud partying, was travelling with one friend, am slightly past my peak fitness but enjoy learning new things.
Learning to wingfoil was difficult but really enjoyable, and I was able to have lessons and ample time to practice on my own in between. I was also able to kitesurf (which I can do already) and snorkel, and the spot was brilliant for each of these. Warm, clear, turqouise water, we had wind every day from 8am-2:30pm and sometimes right into the evening. Sunrise kitesurf was a highlight, and watching the other kiters doing insane jumps. It was hot, but pleasantly so, around 27 degrees.
Everyone went above and beyond to make sure everything went well, any niggles were fixed quickly with kindness. The other vacationers on the boat were a great bunch, with a nice chilled vibe and one evening good fun karaoke, but not noisy late at night.
Great food, lots of nice touches, additional drinks at a reasonable price and a generally fantastic atmosphere.
Thanks to the whole team, I'd love to come back.

Ideal place for water sports. It is very convenient to live on the boat and ride from it. It is very cool to be in an atmosphere of like-minded people, because everyone who is here, came here to give all their energy and time to kiting or wingfoyling. For a whole week it's just you, the sea, the wind and the sail.
Legend is worth a week at sea and Kite Adventure is back at Safaga every night.
The organization is top notch, everything is clear, there are no queues or delays anywhere. The interaction between team members is perfect. Everyone knows what they need to do. The focus of attention is on creating the most comfortable conditions for guests. It seems that the staff can read minds - just want to do something or something does not work out, as you already someone helps you. The attitude as to close relatives. My food preferences were 100% taken into account.
The equipment is modern and in good condition, all sizes are available. There are enough instructors, no need to wait in line.
The Legend ship is fun in the evening - music, dancing, karaoke.
Thanks to the whole Tornado team for a cool vacation. Special thanks to Sabina, Felix, Ahmed and Mahmoud.

Just the perfect place to learn kitesurfing or wing foiling. Had a week full of wind and thanks to our wing foil instructor (Mauro), we got to ride pretty well by the end of our week ;) We would a 100% recommend this place. The boat located right by a sandband is an ideal spot to learn and is extremely convenient if you stay full time on the boat or if you just want to spend the day. Thanks to their water taxi that will pick you up from the marina and drop you off at the end of the day. Food is delicious and the crew onboad makes the entire experience so enjoyable. We loved every second of it. Thank you !

A very good concept on a windy spot, with clear and warm water... hard not to love it. A highly skilled team that takes great care of their clients. I loved this stay and will definitely come back. A warm team, professionalism... truly excellent. Within a few hours, you’ll feel like friends, ready for an amazing stay.

I had an amazing experience at Tornado Surf in Safaga! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a kitesurfing holiday. The team was fantastic—friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. The kitesurfing instructor was providing great guidance. The spot itself is beautiful, with good wind conditions.

I spent a week on the Tornado Surf boat with Diego and Nicoletta from GlobeKiter in Colico ITA, who guided me on an "Evolution" kite route that has been of interest to me for some time. Mission accomplished! The choice to be on the Tornado boat was decisive because every morning it took us to a spectacular spot where the constant wind and crystal clear water reigned supreme. Safety on the spot, I would say absolute... you could choose from shallow to deep seabed, but in any case your activity was supervised and assisted by the staff who intervened promptly if necessary both for rescue and for assistance with two inflatable boats.
On board I found every kind of comfort, from cold drinks to hot water for the shower, not to mention the solariums for relaxation as well as the storage of the equipment. The cuisine was excellent, varied and plentiful, compliments to the chef. The hosts Felix and Sabine are super kind and helpful people who manage a trained and always smiling staff of young people. I used my own material but I found that the equipment, both for the kite and for the wing, is top notch and varied, in short for all levels and needs. If I were to treat myself to another kiting holiday, I will definitely think about the Tornado, but I will certainly recommend it to my friends and students. Well done

I know the spot since more than 10 years but 1st kite safari trip experience, morning, day and especially sunset kite sessions were amazing !
Services provided by the crew is 5 stars !

Felix and Sabine make frendly atmosphere on the boat and I've never seen such a professional crue. You just need point to a kite, guys on the boat pump it, link the lines and you ride off. And you can be sure: in any bad situation they save you. With best wishes, SlavaZ from Russia

We had a fantastic holiday thanks to everyone in Tornado Surf!
The whole team is perfect, everyone is very friendly and kind, we felt "at home" straight away!
We were riding on a spot near Safaga Island for one week which was fab, then we were able to go to Soma Bay which is sooo beautiful... Sunny days, clear water, steady wind, perfect conditions! We were able to progress and try new things everyday. No stress whatsoever, the kites and equipment is prepared for you, just jump in the water and start riding! If something goes wrong, the rescue boat comes straight away.
The food on the boat was delicious, the boat itself is very comfortable with many little spots to chill and relax before or after a kite session.
Great times and memories, big thanks to you all : Eric, Sandra, Mauro, Sabine, Felix, Païvi, Romani, Hammadah, Ahmed, Ramon, Easy, Zarzur, Coco... Sorry for those that I'm forgetting! You are a great team 🤙

After a year we were given a warm welcome, you immediately feel welcome and at home ❤️
super relaxed and family atmosphere on the boat, very tasty lunch, the owners Sabine and Felix are so sweet, accommodating and wonderfully relaxed. The whole team is great, everyone is super nice and helpful, our Wing Foil Instructor Mohamed Zarzour was simply magical, he explains things well and is super motivating when things don't work out straight away. We laughed a lot together and learned a lot from him, thank you for the great time! We hope to come back soon!

Hello. I have a question about prices. Is it required to take packaged course or I can just train without trips to somabay? Can I kite alone after beginner course, do self launch etc?

For the training we can also offer you single lessons.
We will go with the boat to soma bay for kitesurfing.
In case you would like to stay only half day - we also can arrange this.
After the course, if you reach the level to be independent, then you can either come with your own equipment or you can rent kites.

Vos questions:
Notre club de planche à voile est à la plage de Lamar Resort, Safaga. Il est environ 30 minutes en taxi de Magic Live, Kalawy - 20 € par trajet.
Nous avons JP-Boards et Neilpryde-Riggs en toutes les tailles. Et nous avons aussi deux Catamaran de TopCat pour vent léger.
