I have to clearly disagree with the previous reviewers. After reading the bad reviews here, we prepared ourselves for the worst.
The "very good" only refers to the underwater world, however.
The outside is typically Egyptian "dirty" in terms of cleanliness. The food was OK and similar to the boat trips (only with a grill 😁).
There is actually a huge construction site (probably a new hotel) behind it and of course that creates a certain amount of construction noise. On the other hand, there are (almost) no annoying beach vendors. So it balances out a bit 😅
The reef at this spot is still well preserved and a large number of trusting fish frolic there.
There is also a diving base right on the beach for divers.

All in all, I can highly recommend this trip to sea-loving vacationers. The surroundings are more typical of the country and functional, if a bit dirty (but that's not what you're used to in Egypt).

Fun day with the family to go snorkeling.
We were able to enjoy a day without wind and with not too many people. The seabed is superb with magnificent fish and corals. We had the chance to see turtles
Unfortunately, major construction is underway (hotels) which indicates a surplus of tourists in a few years.

Very beautiful bay. I almost didn't go because of the many bad reviews and I'm glad
I went anyway. It's not dirty at all like someone wrote and the restaurant is very good. The buffet had the local dishes and they were deliciously prepared.
Everything was very clean. In the afternoon, cups washed up now and then but that was probably from boats. In the evening they cleaned everything. Absolutely great for snorkeling... fantastically beautiful. Oh yes and there is actually construction going on behind it but they are building very slowly and you don't hear much 😊

This place is an absolute gem.
One can hardly find anything wrong here
The staff from reception, kitchen diving center are amazing. Everyone is so kind, friendly and very professional

We are divers, so for us it was a fantastic experience. Everyone from the diving center are simply fantastic! So organized and professional!🧡 We had 4 amazing dives for a very reasonable price which includes the gear too.

If one does want to do diving, there is also snorkeling which is just wonderful. 🐠

Another very important aspect is that the whole territory of the resort including the beach is well kept.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is always a great variety of food. Moreover everything is delicious 😋!

The room was spacious with super comfortable beds and pillows 😊(very important)

I wish we could stay here a month or so. Definitely will be back! 🧡💙

I booked my stay last minute after a change of plan in another hotel. I got a call right away from Mr Mina who kindly made sure my request for a single bed is met, and I was given a beautiful sea view room.

I spent 6 nights and I will be back again for sure, mainly for diving.

The house reef is the best I’ve ever seen in the Red Sea, untouched and full of life - corals and fish! People at the diving center know what they’re doing, and are really nice and humble, you won’t find any snobbish attitude there. They are friendly, welcoming and decent. Also it’s quiet affordable!

Rooms are clean, with a private bathroom, balcony and AC. What was missing: a no disturb sign (to use if I don’t want housekeeping), and a kettle (and tea). Saleh from housekeeping was really friendly and helpful.

Food was clean and delicious, everyone was super friendly and helpful. I forgot to mention that I don’t eat meat in my reservation but the chef made sure to have something for me in every meal. If you’re vegetarian or vegan I recommend you mention that in your reservation, although you will always find salads and vegetable dish along with carbs. The one thing that was inconvenient for me with food is the meal time: I wake up before 6am and breakfast is served from 8:30am, and I don’t like to eat after 6pm and dinner is served at 7pm, I would have preferred an earlier meal time.

My overall experience was positive and I’m happy to recommend this place, especially for divers and snorkelers - you can see eagle rays while snorkeling :)

Great snorkeling spot!! Unfortunately ravaged by global warming... this spot allows you to see the state of the coral unfortunately 😩 but on the other hand there is plenty to do with fish, no worries 😉
Large hotel under construction 100m away which will devastate the rest of the still accessible beach and that's a shame!! A little noisy and dirty but once your head is in the water you forget everything! Top buffet
I still recommend going there for a visit, it’s worth the detour for the snork

Very disappointed excursion sold as the most beautiful beach on the Red Sea!!!! The beach at the hotel where I stayed was 10 times more beautiful!! A scam for tourists!!!! In addition, the day was shortened by the organizer CARENT TOUR HURGHADA day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the beach but made me leave at 3:10 p.m.!!!!!!!!

One of the main reasons I come to Egypt is for the snorkelling. I was on T.A. looking for a reputable company to take me on a snorkelling trip (having previously doen the island / boat trips).
A destination expert recommended a company called Tourific Excursions and I contacted them. One of thier trips is to Sharm El Naga where diving & snorkelling is possible straight from the beach.

I arrived about half 9 in the morning and settled on to a small beach with a view out across the bay. The host advised us that there would be two guided trips - one in the morning and one in the afternoon with lunch in between.

Both snorkelling trips were excellent - each lasting approximately an hour and there was time for personal snorkelling too. The water was easily accessible from the beach and was warm. Visibility in the water was very good (especially in the morning) and we saw plenty of fish - including Lion Fish.

Lunch was provided as part of the day as was free water. The food was fine and the water was cold.

Although busy, it was never too busy and for anyone wanting a snorkelling day out, I would recommend a visit to Sharm El Naga.
