We enjoyed our time at the mini Egypt park. Waleed was our tour guide and he came round the whole park with us, he explained what each model was and answered our questions about the different pieces. He had good English and was very friendly. He also took fantastic photos on our mobile phone so we didn't have any extra charge for photos. Worth a visit. It's also nice to support a local business even if it is a little old. Still enjoyable. Thank you to all of the staff, especially Waleed.

This is the best open-air museum we’ve ever seen. The perfekt alternative, to discover Egypt…in miniature format.
Special thanks to Ahmed Dak, our tour guide, who made this journey through mini Egypt a memorable trip for us.
Ahmed is by the way a professional photographer I guess. He took a lot of beautiful and creative pictures of us.
We payed 65€ for 2 adults and 1 child.
Transfer and Guide included.

A great place to take pictures and experience a little bit of all the major landmarks of Egypt if you don't have the time to see it all! Lots of improvements have been made since I was there the 1st time, so definitely give it a visit! Make sure you bring your camera! It's beautiful at sunset! Also, all the displays are written in multiple languages, which is such a wonderful thing to see! It really makes it the kind of experience that you can enjoy on your own, without needing a tour guide!

just want to thank AHMED DAK for his excellent knowledge and amazing photos he had taken with my phone' we have the perfect memories to take back home with us
if you cannot manage to visit the real gizo or cairo then this is the best option to visit
AHMED is friendly and encourages you to get involved with the posing on the statues

We initially wanted to go to Cairo but with a 3 year old and 1 year old the trip to Cairo from hurghada is merely impossible. We opted for mini Egypt instead and well we had a great time. We learnt so much from our guide Mohammed (fantastic Man, well educated and a great photographer)

He guided us around each monument telling us all the history, he was patient when our kids were playing up. He got some great photos for us to keep as memories.

It’s a fantastic opportunity and very well designed highly recommend

I wasn’t expecting much after reading the reviews on here, thankfully we had a superb guide Mohammed. What a true asset he is to Mini Egypt, he is very knowledgeable and informative and so friendly. He definitely made our visit so much more enjoyable. Thank you for the memories Mohammed and the amazing pictures you took, we will definitely visit again

Had high expectations of this place but unfortunately was not as expected . Firstly after being picked up by a taxi outside our hotel we were whisked away and agreed a price for a return the driver also said he was happy to wait while we visited the models as It turned out on return the driver wanted a hell of lot more money when we said no he said he would drive us to the ATM to get more money my husband had to really stand his ground in the end the driver backed down and off we went .
Now back to mini Egypt like other reviews have said it is very expensive at £20 each it only took an hour to get around the models need some attention and maintenance and although our guide Mohammed was a likeable guy that took some great photos It would of been nice to have some time just to wander around after on our own . With more effort and some input this could be a lovely place especially if some activities were added for children to enjoy . All in all found it a bit boring and too expensive

The concept is good but needs major uplift in setup. After paying £20 GBP for each person we were left disappointed. The guys at the entrance were lovely but once we entered we were left to wonder around by ourselves. No tour guide, no audio, no paper map with history to walk around with. Just a little text written in front of each monument. We had walked through in under an hour, maybe half an hour.
The place has the potential to be so much better. Hopefully they can at-least set up timings for tour guides which every visitor has access to. Wi-Fi access would be great for visitors as it’s a nightmare to arrange a taxi from there with no internet or phone network.
