Booked a last minute holiday to Egypt so unfortunately did not have enough time to get any on line discounts that this centre have available. I had been with this dive centre a few years ago and was impressed so I chose to dive with them again. Have to say the experience was excellent from start to finish. Safety is paramount here. All divers need to dive the house reef before getting out on the felucca or bigger boats. This is no hardship as it is a nice wee relaxed dive and gives you a chance to get your gear wet. The dive packages are good value imo and the staff - from Olga and the others in reception, Asai and Zizo on the dives and Ramon in the kit room - are all fantastic. A variety of excellent dive sites also and lots to see. Encouragingly the reefs look as if they have recovered over Covid but there are fewer big fish due to locals relying on fishing for their food source over Covid with little other alternatives for them. Hopefully this too will recover quickly. Lone divers like myself are well buddied up and the dive masters get to know your profile really quickly so that you are always diving safely and comfortably.
The dive shop is well stocked and I love my Scuba World T shirt(white). Hopefully I will be back soon to get a black one.
Cannot recommend this centre highly enough.

Top quality afternoon. Highly recommended fo snorkeling.

Booked a 3 hour private snorkeling trip from an agent on the beach. Service was good, non pushy to book and fixed price.

The trip itself was perfect. The boat was a nice spacious dive boat with plenty of shade and good supply of drinks. We had our own snorkeling gear but used their flippers.

The snorkeling spots were 20/30 boat ride from Makadi Bay jetty (5 min walk from our hotel (Jaz Oasis). The spots were some of the best snorkeling I've ever done. We stopped on a really cool sand bank which had about 50cm of water on it. Perfect for a walk around and some beautiful photos.

We managed to squeeze in 4 stops.

The guide, Adam, was really good. He was very professional, knew both what he was doing and also knew the reefs he took us to. He constantly checked we were all present and together and regularly kept us in check when we were drifting away.

The boat driver was equally professional.

All in all, I'd absolutely recommend both this trip and this company. We paid €250 for 3 hours of private boat which although seemed quite a lot of money, was worth every penny and I felt was great value.

Spring holidays with epic diving

Nice clean and tidy dive centre with friendly helpful staff and excellent facilities for you and your kit. Visiting with my partner who has mobility issues I opted for 5 morning boat dive trips to keep the peace. The diving was varied in both scenery and fish life visiting a different site for every dive. The guides and boat crews were helpful and enthusiastic making sure everyone had a good time catering for all levels of divers . We will be back soon for a autumn visit hopefully 🤞

The centre was recommended by the hotel we stayed at and my dialogue with the, prior to our visit was very good. I went to the dive centre and wanted to book 2 dives, but was told that as I’d not dived for 3 months (certified for deep, Nitrox and wreck with 50 dives total) that I would need to do a house reef dive at€60 to demonstrate mask and mouthpiece recovery). I could then do the reef dives.

Whilst I appreciate the necessity to demonstrate the basics, I didn’t feel the need to spend €60 to prove it.

Instead I went to Idive, just along the bay where I demonstrated the basics on our 1st reef/boat dive.

A bit disappointed in what felt like a blatant attempt to extract €60

Very efficient company, and very much evidenced when a shark attack just up the coast, caused all snorkeling and diving activities to be suspended in the area, so they bused us down to Safaga, found a dive boat, and carried on operations without a blip. Some fantastic local dives, with stunning corals, and a very safety conscious organisation. Would not hesitate to recommend them, and will certainly use them again should we head in that direction again.

excellent service, more than friendly staff and great experience

We've spent two weeks of vacations at Makadi Bay and had several dives, cources and trainings at Scuba World.

First day there was the refresher for my wife and the divers check for myself. Everyhing very profesional and relaxed (no hurry). The equipment is in excellent conditions and rental prices more than fair.

The house reff is excellent for beginners and you can see lotta different species below the water. For more experiences you can book a boat trip - either with one or two dives.

I myself have made the PPB (peak perfect boyence) course at the dive base which was excellent made by Remon and gave me the necessary ability, to get more relaxed under water and to have more fun, by watching the vicinity.

All of our requests have been solved by the more than friendly staff and we are so happy about the stay there.

We can highly recommend Scuba World Divers - as well as for beginners as for professionals.

Looking forward to be there next year :o)

Best snorkling trip I ever had! Wonderful reefs, dolphins and a perfect crew! The day was awsome with nice people. Crew did its best to serve all passengers with tea, soda, coca-cola or lemonade.

Diving all inclusive

I have been diving from 1990 and this is the by far best divecenter i have been to. I have done 10 dives with them and the staff on this divecenter are awsome and the dive guide Zizo knows hos red sea so good and i give hin a special thanks for all dives. Zizo you are the best. So if you want to dive and want to have a really good days in the water just remember this divecenter and make your reservation.
When i went out diving from the boat the staff on the boat helpt with everything.

I also would like to thank Zoe for planing my dives and Axal for geting everyones mood on top on the divecenter and on the boats.

I will come back to this divecenter.

Excellent dive centre, patient, professional staff

Great staff, all jolly, patient, helpful with a great vibe but thoroughly professional. We did a refresher dive on the house reef which was an excellent house reef. Then went on their boat for a couple of wreck dives. Briefings were both in English & German. Food on the boat was excellent. All the equipment was new or in great shape, not the usual tatty wetsuits. We will definitely book with them again. Highly recommended.

Toilets that flush straight into the sea, disgusting!

Did the Orange Bay trip from Makadi beach. Paid double (€60pp) for the trip what we later found out other providers were charging.
Trip was utterly ruined for me when I discovered - in a most unpleasant way - that the boat was flushing the toilets straight into the sea, including right next to the reef. Appalling, disgusting practice which I am certain is not allowed. The company need to think about the impact on health and hygiene and tourism overall. The Red Sea is beautiful with fantastic marine life but no one wants to swim in seas containing raw sewage.
Would never use this company again due to this unethical practice.
