Every dive here is truly fantastic. One of my best local dive sites. Lots of marine life including Napoleons, Eagle Rays, Turtles and Moray Eels. Super nice

One of the lovely dive sites around Hurghada. Get on a boat trip and go and have a try dive, it's another world under the water and it's beautiful.

Can get busy sometimes. Always remember the name of your boat before getting into the water. They all look the same.

Not a nice place anymore. Very crowded, and the marine life disappered. Coral are in fair condition, but no fish anymore

This diving spot is often visit by the day cruices and diving visits as it is close to Hurghada. During our visit there was only 2 other boats with divers visiting Umm Gamar so it was not too crowded. The currents are good to have checked before planning the dive. If ligt current it is a good place for OWD... More

Umm Qamar what means mother off the moon, this of cause the shape off the part from the ree upside the sea.a lovely place with some very nice penakels surrounded by dancing glassfishes and waving softcorals and gorgonians. you find here many kinds off fishes from lionfish to groupers and stonefishes,napoleon, turtles,porcupinefishes,very big onesbutterfly's and for sure you will have... Left Hurgada early in the morning with my hosts of Voodoo Diving.
