The most unlikely place in the middle of nowhere, but well worth the journey. Stunning snorkeling /diving the best you could imagine. Cafe serves good food at great price. The Egyptians lack of care with rubbish shows in the large amounts that collect in the bay at some points. Brought ashore as much as I could manage whilst there, but... More

This place looks like a plain beach with nice umbrellas and good food. But then you step 5m in the sea and look down with your snorkeling goggles and all of the sudden you find yourself in this giant aquarium: corals in all shapes and colors, small fishes, big fishes, blue, red, purple... just like in a TV documentary. We only went to Sharm El Naga as a relative who lives in Hurgada has worked in the Diving Centre based there. What a lovely hidden gem it is. Although not on a direct beach there is ample opportunity for snorkelling as several reefs nearby. For those who can't snorkel (like me) it didn't matter - you can wade in... More

best place for snorkeling and diving in the red sea , never seen that much fish anywhere else , food is delicious and service is over the top

It's discreet beach in out side Hurghada for 40km. The beach is vergin ,the water and its color is paradise, food was fair, it's ver premitibv area good for snorcling.

excellent for any kind of divers but delicious for deep diving! very beautiful veiw and planty of marina life - quite often turtless and Napoleon fish, eagle rays and any other kind of attractive food :-)

Whenever I am in Hurghada or Gouna I have to take my car and drive to soma bay and spend a day in this hidden gem.. Entrance fees is pretty cheap, staff is very friendly, and beach is one of the best to swim, snorkel or dive, lots of corals and rich variety of sea creatures and if you are... More
