We did this trip and 4 other trips with ETO, we had no issues with any of the trips, all we had are good happy memories.
My wife was sick for one of the trips and ETO showed a lot compassion and care, which was greatly appreciated.
Luxor is an amazing place to visit and sight see, this tour I would happily do again which would be my 3rd time. You will not be disappointed by going.
No matter who you go with you'll find that all the trips are pretty much the same. Yes there are negative things about going to Luxor and Cairo but it is all part of the experience, it's up to you how you make that experience. ETO helped make our experience brilliant!

Well we expected a super long day and long it was (25hrs) but I’d absolutely do it again because seeing the pyramids is just amazing. We spent a good amount of time in both the museum and later at the pyramids so I was really pleased not to feel rushed. Our tour guide Hana was excellent, very knowledgable and honest, warning us about scams to expect, and even showed us a free tomb we could go down to at the pyramids while other people had camel rides. I was aware of the stops at the papyrus and perfume shops from previous reviews, but they weren’t too insistent on selling things, we just said no thank you and waited outside. The Nile boat (extra 10 euro each) was nice for some fresh air but it’s very much a city-part of the river, would have loved to go more upstream. From speaking to other travellers, it seemed our bus experience was much better (good aircon, comfy seats) so book with these guys for sure! Only suggestion for improvement is a little more communication on the bus journey- on the way home we kept stopping (which was fine!) but we just weren’t very sure why! And bring lots of water!

Cairo Egyptian Museum- must see. Our experience was spoiled by guides showing us just some things (in his opinion "greatest significance "skipping most of the exhibition with commentary that not very interesting- in the same time making for 15 min inside museum sealing pitch for visiting "papirus factory & perfume factory" Program was rushed due to unplanned visits in perfume factory- excuse for it was horrendous-guided stated that our lunch is not ready yet & to avoid waiting at the restaurant he comes up with "additional attraction" That was obvious that his statement was not true. Lunch was in place where food was prepared well in advance-spaghetti, some potatoes, vegetables in sauce, rice & few pieces of chicken, one grilled koffta each nothing what is cooked to order. Due to additional visit in perfume shop our trip was rushed in the restaurant & then the most important part of excursion: piramids & sfinks cut short to two hours. At the piramids we been told by guide that only way to reach picturesque spot is by camel or horse carriage- obviously for additional fee (very attractive-sorted by our guide). When I asked if we can walk he stated that's is dangerous & we will get scammed. What is the most funny- after 20 min walk to reach the spot we spotted our couch parked around 100 meters away from this viewing point Actually only people trying to scam all of us was our guides- by telling lies to extract more money on the side. Unfortunately will not recommend this company to go with to Cairo from Hurghada. Big shame- side in Giza & National Museum is well worth visiting- but those people (apparently Egyptologists)not taking pride of they amazing heritage & not showing it with all glory just using it to carry some doggy business on side with no interest in honest presentation of amazing Egyptian national treasure

This tour is not really as it seems ... you do nearly 22 hrs traveling on a coach visiting things that really don't need to see .. like a papyrus shop and perfume shop a boat trip on the nile.... was just a bout on the wayer for 20 mins with music blasting in your ears not even remotely entertaining ..... just go to the sites your advertising .. the 1.30hr you wasted visiting these would have been use to spend more time at the sites I actually paid to see ... on all about 1.45 minutes out of 22 hrs at the pyramids and sphinx wasn't really good enough to actually take In the breath taking structures these are .... rushed in and out .... was just a day of trying to get more money of people at stuff nobody on the tour wanted to see

I was very disappointed by how bad experience this journey became.
First the bus was late to pick us up. Once it came to pick us up, we also drove around Hurugada for 2 hours so that several travelers would be picked up to. Then they weren't prepared, so when we were to leave Hurugada, we didn't get through right away. We had to type our details again so they have a list of travelers and they told us to type faster (in a rude tone). The problem was that they were not professional enough, not prepared and not organized, which led to a bad experience and delays.
First stop was the museum and once we got there they said we would have a 5 minute toilet break, but it ended up being about an hour instead. We who had ordered a guide in English and Italian did not get an explanation, but had to wait by the toilets until the tour leader came back with a guide. When we got a guide after about an hour, he was the only good thing about the trip.
We were maybe in the museum for 45 min - 1 hour and not 90 min as they claim. We were also not at the pyramids as long as they claimed. The same applies to Sphinx, we were only there for a maximum of 10 min to take a quick picture. Instead, we spent close to an hour in a perfume shop that was only supposed to last 30 minutes.
Then there were also some French and Russian speakers on the bus and their guides were constantly explaining during the bus tours, which was not nice as the rest of us didn't understand it and you didn't want to listen to it during the whole trip.
We got no apology, no explanation and everything was a mess. I do not recommend anyone to book this tour.

Thanks a lot for your feedback on our cairo tour from Hurghada.
As we are head management, we investigated the situation as you claimed on the tour.
Fristly - we have enough experience in working in tourism since 2007. All oir guide must be with license from ministry of tourism.
Secondly : the bus was late 5-10 minutes , it happens every where because we collect from another hotels before your hotel. Sometimes the guests late and logically we will late for next hotel.
In each visit ( Egyptian museum or area pyramids+ sphinx ) minimum 1 hour and half to spend in these places . Because they very big areaand not enough less than this time.
About the Italian Guide , we don't know why you ask about him , however you don't speak Italian language.
You speak Sweden and English.
You wrote in review there are french tourists and others. This tour with group not in private tour. All nationalities have rights to enjoy and visit the historic sites.
As we described all details in the tour description. Which includes and excluded. And all excluded are optional 💯%
But you wanted to do some activities which not included in price for free to make some troubles in the trip to force our guide to accept to do these activities for free.
As you claimed that you didn't receive any apologies or any contact with you for knowing what happened on the tour.
We contacted with you by what's App. And we can send the screen shot as prove.

A lengthy but a very enjoyable tour. Long day but very worthwhile. Pick up from the hotel was prompt, tickets to all included attractions were already at hand and not to mention our guide Mohamed who was absolutely brilliant. Very knowledgeable, hit all the hot spots around the museum and pyramids and also very funny. Really recommend going on this tour!
