Me and my friend travelled to Egypt last week. We stayed in Hurghada and decided to make a trip to Cairo. We booked the day trip by plane for 170 euros/person. It was the perfect choice. For a reasonable price, we were offered irreproachable services.
First of all, the driver that picked us up from the resort arrived right on time. At the airport, we met the rest of the group (a total of 7 tourists, including us) and we received all the necessary information regarding the flight. The flight itself was very pleasant, Egyptair provides a high level of comfort during flights.
When we arrived in Cairo, we met our guide, Mamdouh, who is, by far, the best guide I've ever seen. He was visibly passionate about his work, possessed great organisational skills (he used time wisely, nothing was done in a rush), interested in meeting all our needs, he advised us what to do and what not to do in order to be safe during the trip. He is a polyglot and easily switched from one language to another. At the Pyramids, he showed us unique places, with breathtaking landscapes, hidden from most of the tourists, where we took amazing pictures.
The driver in Cairo deserves a prize, he did miracles in those traffic jams that the city is famous for.
The next day, we travelled to Luxor with a different agency and we compared their services to Egyptra's, concluding that we should have chosen the latter one.
All that being said, I definitely recommend Egyptra for this kind of trip.

The luxury coach turned out to be a 10 seater transit style mini van. It was very hot and the two trips taken, to Giza via Cairo, and the Valley of the Kings, taken with a day in-between, were long and exhausting, but fun thanks to the drivers. Plus, booking in advance in the UK, meant no hassles with money changing etc.
We actually went pre-pandemic in May 2019 but from the way we saw how things worked in Egypt I am surmising things are still very similar.
They stopped at specific places for rest breaks etc plus they supplied bottled water regularly throughout each journey.
The trips weren't just to one destination and back. We visited the Cairo museum, the pyramids, Karnak, Valley of the Kings, had 2 x 45 minute boat trips (extra fee) on the Nile and had 2 wonderful days of 18 and 20 hours.
Definitely fun days and unbelievable roads across the desert.

We booked a dolphin swimming trip prior to leaving the UK and were kept informed via Whats App with pick up times and details.
The excursion was fabulous. Snorkles and flippers are offered to you free of charge. We had our own so we did not borrow their kit.
I am not a strong swimmer and was put at ease by our fabulous tour guide Luca who even allowed me to swim with him whilst I gained my confidence in the water and a life best was provided.
We saw many many dolphins and so many beautiful fish around the coral.
The whole day was well planned and ran smoothly.
Food provided for lunch was delicious and plentiful.
I would highly recommend.
There was a photographer on the boat trip taking pics throughout the day which we were offered to purchase but they were not pushy with this. We did decide to buy ours and glad we did as they were able to capture many of the under water shots that we would not have been able to get. We have stills and also video footage of ourselves on two DVDs for the price of 600 Egyptian Pounds (£29.00 uk) and absolute bargain.
All staff on board the boat were fabulous. All smiling and clearly enjoying their work.
If I return to Hurghada again, I would definitely rebook this trip.
A 9hour excursion for two people for just over £50 was well worth it.
Cannot thank the entire team enough.

I paid for 3days trip in Hurghada, Orange bay iland Safari and Dolphin house. The trips was always in hurry, they never let enough time to enjoy it. Dolphin house scam, just some wild dolphin watching provided if you lucky. At safari day they forgot to lift us, we had to argue and wait 3 hours. So waste of money.Expensive and just few minutes for every experiences. For example banana boat wasnt at orange bay, but fortunatelly was on dolphin house day but it was just 0.25 minute. It isn't joke. I bought tickets on get your guide, they dont allow my review. Trips are over priced cose you only get some food and transfers, experiences just for tasting not for feel them. 😥😡

I highly recommend trips with Egyptra. We were in Egypt twice, and had several trips with Egyptra both times. They organized trips when our dreams came true.
We highly recommend swimming with dolphins & snorkeling – this trip is always magic because of meeting with dolphins.
Crew is always very kind and helpful with positive attitude and creates wonderful atmosphere. They explain how to behave during meeting with dolphins and during snorkeling on coral reef in order not to startle dolphins, take care of the nature and be safe. They always found dolphins despite the fact that sometimes it is not easy task.
Moreover, we recommend starwatching on the desert – the sky is really wonderful for watching stars and planets there.
Guide told us very interesting stories about Egyptians and created wonderful atmosphere. He had breadth of knowledge concerning sky of course 😊

To be honest this trip is not what I was expecting. It takes 7 hours to get to Cairo from Hurghada, you get to the museum and run through it as there is not much time to enjoy the exhibition.One hour and 15 minutes is not enough and you definitely need at least half a day in order to see the museum and their artefacts.The guides we had are not really professional in my opinion, let's start with the French one for example.He was only helping with explanation when really necessary and spent the rest of the ride to the piramids or river bank sleeping instead of explaining things about Egypt and what are we seeing.The German guide was the most passionate about what she does and was even waiving good bye.The Italian guide was better than the French but also needs to be more involved.English guide has the voice you do not really want to hear without wearing ear plugs, she was screaming Ramses (name of the group) all the time and when you were in her neighbourhood you had to cover your ears.The trip itself is all about getting as much money from tourist as possible, let's say for example the boat trip,nothing was mentioned about that but if you wish to participate you need to pay extra 10 Euro or 200 Egyptian pounds.It is not wort the money as it takes 15 minutes and the only things they say what you see or pass by is an embassy, 1st class hotel, house of someone who was rulling Egypt etc.Another thing they forgot to mention is that you need to pay extra if you wish to go to see the inside of the bigger pyramid or if you wish to ride a camel or in a wagon being pulled by horses. In the trip you only have one entrance I side small piramid which be aware takes forever to get down,some tourist should not be allowed there as they only block the route and as there is no room for manoeuvre you stuck with them.Be aware the horses they are using for tourists are being treated very bad and they can barely pull all the heavy/lazy people up.Please do not use them as this is first class animal slaughter, there is only a couple if meters up so use your bloody legs for that and not horses who glide on the very slippery road and suffer punishment.The trip in general is not really worth it. You can better go to Cairo and pyramids by yourself for a couple of days instead of wasting 14 hours in the bus and running through museum and pyramids, in some places you had only a couple of minutes as they need to squeeze more money from you by taking you to unexpected parfum place.

The Giftun Island Snorkeling trip was awesome. Great crew and awesome day. Even if the weather was windy and chilly they did everything to make us feel good. And the cameraman ”Mogli” ♥️ took some really great family pictures! He was great! Best of all of the cameramen we had after!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Little Ceasar crew gets 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Then the Quad Bike safari was really a great experience! Long day so before dinner bring some snacks or fruit. Bring sunglasses! Lovely dinner with a show after. One thing they could think about is to make separate smoking areas at the dinner. Even if it's outside it's hard for people it allergies. But good food and great show. And they get 5 ⭐️ 🌟🌟🌟🌟
The dolphin swimming was chaos from the beginning. We were given a different time for pick up than was given to the driver. So we were crammed into a normal sized car all 5 of us. After the cameraman on the boat was unpleasant and cringe creepy on me and my daughter. Taking separate "sexy" pictures and asking my 14 old daughter to show more skin. The dolphin swimming felt very awful. Chasing 4 dolphins and then jumping from a fast moving boat into the water and trying to focus were the group was with 10 other boats around. But the snorkeling after was amazing and the waterfun after was good. But after they were asking for tip and begging for money wouldn’t return our change and said it can be tip. A tip is a gift not to be taken! So that trip gets 3 stars because the Snorkeling and waterfun was good!

We made the Hurghada: Sorkeling and Swimming with Dolphins with lunch. They picked us up in our hotel, however they arrived a bit late even though they had arranged an early hour.
The tour was very nice, we could swim with dolphins for a bit and other beautiful fishes. To improve: lunch variety, once there was just meat as main dish. The team was really available and funny. There's also a photographer that will record videos and take pictures you can pay in the end.

I booked a transfer from Hurghada Airport to El Gouna. The Travel Services Company contacted me previously via whatsapp and confirmed the arrival date and time. Upon my arrival, the driver was waiting on time at the agreed pick up point. So, I had a good and flawless experience. Thank you very much for taking care of me.

Apologies but it's been a few years since we went to Egypt. I cannot comment on the age policy. I can say that the 20 hour journey, there and back, was hot and hard.
