We did the 1 hour lesson for the 4 of us and it was lots of fun. The instructor had plenty of time for the kids and was very patient. We ended up having lunch there which was good enough, and had drinks all afternoon in the sun loungers whilst the kids were playing in the water floating park, again with another instructor who kept them safe and even played with them. Definitely recommend

Please be sure to keep an open mind when reading the reviews about Sliders cable park on Trip advisor as people are much more likely to write a bad review / complain than leave a review about what a good time they had!
We arrived at Sliders at 9am on Weds the 28th Jan and were greated by the mangeress who was extremely friendly and helpful. We paid for a 6 days pass which was a bargin at approximately £150 - this allows you to ride the cable all day every day from 9-6. We all had our own kit as we were a group of UK wakeboarders searching for the sun - look no further - although it was meant to be winter in Egypt the temp never dropped below 25 degrees. 4/6 of the days the water was glassy flat and the perfect conditions for learning or progressing your riding. The staff were amazing - very friendly and helpful to those getting to grips with the complexities of riding a full cable. For those that have never ridden before there are 'easy up' cables guaranteeing victory after some practice!! :)
There are some amazing obstacles for those more advanced riders and even those just starting out and wanting to try something new... There are ample relaxation areas with bean bags, great music and stunning views - its nice to wind down and watch the riders :)
We ate there most days and the food was awesome and very reasonable!
Was a great week and will definately be going back soon!
Thanks to all of the Sliders Cable Park staff for looking after us and making our time there enjoyable!
Tip - Stay in El Gouna if travelling especially for the cable park as you are able to get a taxi or tuk tuk from anywhere in El Gouna to Sliders for 50 EGP each which is 50p :))))

Just what egypt needed for the low/no wind days. My only concern is the price if you turn up with no kit and you are looking to spend the day get ready to be parted from some cash. Its aroud 80 euros will kit hire so 4 days at the cable will more than likely cost over half the price of your holiday. Also no pdq machines so your cards are useless its cash money all the way

Having just got back from a great holiday in El Gouna had to put in a review for there new wake board cable park.
I have been wakeboarding for about two years so could not believe my luck when I found out about Sliders what could be better 35 degree heat 30 degree water.
1st Wakeboard equipment for all five days I paid for I never had a pair of bindings that worked and all others were broken and boards well you had a choice of well worn liquid force or some kind of modified tea trays.
2nd The long walk of the soul please don't fall off any of the sliders or ramps because the walk back over broken building rubble in bare feet in 35 degrees is painful at best soul destroying at worst there is no proper path around the lake as yet.
3rd and last, On the last day thankfully my modified tea tray as no other boards were availably snapped wright down the middle while doing a power slide, Great face plant on the Go-Pro, at which point I took it back to the front desk were a 15 minute argument took place with the manager as she wanted me to pay 250 euros for the now broken tea tray.
After reading this you my wonder way I went back 5 times well the ramps and sliders are great the local instructors are a great bunch of guys the pool is clean with great views its not to busy during the day and the foods really good.
Top tips TAKE YOUR OWN GEAR and bribe your Took-Took driver to come and get you In the afternoon as they feel its a long way from El Gouna for 10 Egyptian pounds.
Have fun.
Wake Boards are for life not just for Christmas.

Day one of my holiday myself, girlfriend and two friends turned up at sliders late afternoon hoping to fit a two hour session in before the park closed at 6pm.

My intension was to kite all day and purchase a weeks cable pass so I could hit the park every evening and end the day there with a few drinks at their bar.

My initial encounter with the woman at the front desk infuriated me so much, myself and party did not return to the cable out of principal for the rest of the week and instead we enjoyed the hospitality of the RedSeaZone in the evenings.

We waited at the front desk while the lady serving unenthusiastically shuffled through a pile of papers. Eventually having seemingly not found what she was looking for she gazed around for a moment and then slowly shuffled to the serving area and enquired as to what we were stood there for (in perfect English and then Polish).... I'm already bored of telling you this story but the long and the short of it is we were still stood there 15mins later with no cable passes, I then had to take a private tuk into town to get cash because they didn't even own a card machine (tax fiddle springs to mind) and eventually I alone ended up with a cable pass and got 1hr 30mins of riding in even tho I was forced to pay for 2 hrs.

The others had to watch as it wasn't worth hiring the kit because of the expense and ridiculous charging system. Luckily I had my own kit, essentially they wasted an hour of our time getting on the water and then tried to make us pay for a pass and kit hire for 2 hours even tho we would have been on the water for an hour. The lady was rude, had selective hearing and at points ignored me while I was trying to pay for a pass.

The park is good but souless with a bad vibe. Not like the atmosphere you get at a UK cable. My advice would be to take bundles of cash and your own equipment as although the place looks flash these people are inexperienced not just in the running of a cable park but business in general. Customer service is none exsistent and they just want your money.... In paper form!

The park is very good, brand new, local personal working there is very nice and professional. But I have to say that the girls working at the reception are absolutely not friendly and you feel so bad to pay 40€ for 2 hours with such a welcoming...necessary to replace them by friendly ones that will not destroy your mood at your arrival !!!

The place vibes is so amazing. The staff are genuinely sincere. The place is divided into three major activities beach club, cable surfing and sliders, which allow you to spend the whole day there without getting bored. I tried the sliders for half an hour and it was enough for a couple but if you have a larger gathering you will enjoy it more. I tried for the first time my surfing experience and it was amaaaaaazing although I though it will be so hard to enjoy it in 1 hour but the coach was good and the whole experience was so good. It a little bit pricey but for a place of a kind in el gouna I guess it worth it. I’ll pay it a visit again for sure.

We traveled to the park for a day. Including the wakeboard it cost 60 euros per person. The wakepark itself is quite nice, with beautiful pool and relax area. However cable operators were slacking to the point that if it’s not busy they would shut cable and walk away, so if you fall in when you come back you had to look for operator in order to carry on with your session. Ridiculous!
The other thing is rental gear was a joke, old delaminated wake boards and ripped bindings... so if you end up going to this wake park, make sure you bring your gear

If it's not windy it is a real nice place to go to. Friendly people, good food and a kickass wakepark. Plenty od obstacles and it has a left going and right going cable, which is being switches during the day.
