I’ve been coming to El Gouna for 16 years now and we’ve always had pleasant experiences here. This trip was our first after Covid and we were so looking forward to it. This was our last day and the staff at the beach left a nasty taste in my mouth. We came over from Hill Villas where we are staying, across the bridge and my wife and I crossed with no issue. Our 4 daughters were a minute or so behind us, we suddenly received a panicked call from them saying they were effectively “being detained” and couldn’t go any further. In addition, 1 hotel worker was then extremely rude, demanding they call us immediately and have us “hurry” back. We were already down the jetty when we got the call and came back as swiftly as we could but still these people harried our children into calling us and demanding we came back quicker. Once back were informed we were “breaking the rules” and ordered to pay 100LE each or leave! Not pleasant at all…….people should be ashamed to talk To my children like that!

We have been coming to el gouna for years we have always been greeted nicely from the staff and never had to pay a fee. However, when we got there today our parents were allowed straight through but me and my sisters aging from 16-20 were stopped and were spoken to rudely by the entrance staff saying we had to pay and entry fee. We tried to explain to them are parents had already gone through and our auntie had an owners card. They kept telling us that we need to call our parents even though it costs us a lot of money. In the end we called our parents we told the staff there coming. 5 minutes later one of the staff members told us they need to hurry up. When they got there the staff were also rude to them saying they need to pay they wouldn’t let them explain that our auntie had and owners card and we should and have always been let on the beach. Very Very disappointed by the service of the staff here as we have always been greeted with welcoming arms by other staff around el gouna.

Used to be a nice place but faded glory now.
Unfriendly and very pushy salespeople when you enter this beach were you have to pay 5Euro/person enterance, just to have a walk on the nice and long pier.

The beach is really beautifull! But please clean up! Everywhere are sigarettes sticking at your feet, and my son almost stepped in the sharp metal lip of a beercan. We’ve took the first boat back.

Enjoyed staying at the beach and having lunch there also; either for a relaxing afternoon or after one of the outings offered by Coral Tours. Our advice is to have shoes to go in the water as there are coral debris on the sand

Staff is great but I think the place needs more care in terms of the beach setup itself.
Tried the food; It was really GREAT!

Well, their charges should be LE 125-150 per adult children are LE 100 that will include a parasole and sun bed. Food and drinks are available at two beach bars according to their price menues which is not expensive.
if you are a guest of Dawar El Omda, Sultan Bey, Arina Inn, or Panaoram hotels you are allowed a free entry to this beach.
the beach is accessible only through boats and the meeting points for the boats is at Sultan Bey Hotel. the boat runs every 30 minutes and a time schedule will be available at the above hotels

Hi Ahmed,
sorry for not responding earlier. it is free if you are a guest of Dawar El-Omada of Sultan Bey. you take a boat from Sultan Bey Hotel. if you are not a guest of the above two hotels it is between 125-150 LE per adult. Not sure about children but probably slightly less than 125. Guests of Panorama Bungalows Hotel have a free entry too.
