My husband and me took a beginners golf course with them and loved it. Our instructor Dany was very friendly and patient and very good at spotting and correcting our mistakes. We are looking into taking lessons back home now and can't wait to go back and show our progress.

The view of the golf course is absolutely stunning, especially on a beautiful sunny day. The drinks are very expensive though, as are all other facilities

Not one of your immaculate manicured golf courses , but very well set up , many long dog legs and long par 3's good greens . Played 5 times and always a challenge into the wind. Well worth playing. With a 5 round package costing £297 it's not cheap but not as expensive as portugal and Spain

Me and my wife have visited this nice desert course almost annually since our first round in 2003. So again now, exceptionally after two years due to the stoppage in flights by the Nordic travel agencies. Even if entirelly built in the desert, the course is beautifully decorated by plantings and flowers, in very good condition, greens better than before,... More

My husband chose to play nine holes having looked at the prices. He was advised the price would be cheaper if he played after 2pm. When we arrived at 2 he was then given a good quote for playing 18 holes. We managed to fit in 16 holes before the lights went out. The course is beautifully kept. A couple... More

the course itself is in good condition, however there were no holes that stick in the memory as being visually remarkable. the prices are expensive in my opinion for what it is. Electric buggy costs more whereas in Taba it's included in the green fee price. In addition i have come to expect a fresh cold facecloth when finishing playing... More

Beautiful golf course in a lovely area. Go up the tower for the most amazing view of el gouna. We did this on the Segaway tour which was fantastic.

El Gouna Golf Club provides a well maintained and very enjoyable course. There are some tricky holes, but overall you can enjoy a good round here as long as you can handle the Red Sea wind. The only negative is that the pricing makes it an expensive way to play golf. Could do better on this front.

Not the most challenging place for a game of golf, apart from the heat, however I thoroughly enjoyed myself here.

The course is as all holiday courses should be: beautiful, well maintained and giving you the sense of playing better than your handicap. On-course lessons are very good value for money. Driving range is also great (on grass, and into a lake, which has its 'islands' at 100m, 150m etc. - very stimulating because you have a very gratifying target... More
