RedSeaZone is an IKO CENTER (704), situated at Northern Mangroovy Beach in the private town of El Gouna. We specialize in kitesurfing. We run courses from "zero" to professional training. We rent equipment. We organize international competitions, events, camps for young people, equipment tests and kiteboarding trips to uninhabited islands of the Red Sea - Kitesafari. You can trust us. RedSeaZone has operated since 2005. Our experience with water sports dates back to 1992.Our priority is your holiday! We focus on quality training, that led only by professional IKO instructors in several languages. We care about safety and create an experience that is unforgettable. We have an office in Europe and we abide by European standards.

This spot is a perfect combination of hot windy weather, beautiful shallow lagoon, very well equipped base and great atmosphere made by people working there. I was in few spots around the world and this one is my favourite so far. El Gouna itself is a very clean and safe city and there are many places to go after your kiting session.Try it and you will not regret.

I stayed at the Rihana 3 corners, and this kite school was next to their private beach. It helped that the hotel laid on a free shuttle bus every hour so it made my decision easy to chose this school, however I was not disappointed.
Friendly staff, plenty of facilities (hot shower, fresh water, free air) and take off/landing services on the beach. Free wifi too.
I haven't tried other kite companies in this region, so this is perhaps a fairly biased review, but I'd go back here as they did everything they promised on the website.

Booked in for a few kite surfing lessons before heading home. Great value I think and good student to instructor ratio. The 1 meter deep area went on for quite some distance making learning easy.

Went to talk to the owner she wss on the phone and did a very rude hand gesture to me that shes busy now.
Apart from that the place is very boring and not taking care of compared to the other kite centers next to itm vibes in KBC jite center is 10 times happier.

I needed to sort out kite-surfing, as I am getting old and being water-boarded in the cold North Sea was giving me no pleasure.
Red Sea Zone have linked up with Active Adventures (a small family company in the UK who are great!) and they look after you as if you are royalty from start to finish. The office run by Ania is friendly, proactive and helpful. They know your name at once and watch out for you all the time. The instructors are superb. Mine was Nemo. Ask for him. He is the king of patience and kindness and teaches fantastically. They have a great site with a steady on-shore cross shore wind of 15 - 25 knots. The water is warm and shallow for nearly 400 metres out. They have a RIB to bring you back when blown down wind or your instructor brings your rig back up wind while you ride the RIB. They change your sail anywhere from 5m2 to 14m2 the moment it is necessary and the kites are all ready inflated on the the shore, so no delays. They teach anthing from absolute beginners to high lever acrobatics. The kit is new and in good condition and they provide everything. If you break something they simply give you another. There is a lovely aprés surf area with a bar and loungers with wind shields for relaxing. There were several couples there with young babies being guarded by doting grand-parents, and there were pensioners like myself as well as all the youngsters making me very jealous.
I cannot see how this organisation could do more to make learning to kite-surf fun. If the wind does drop then you can go schnorkelling or diving. If you book through Active adventures (fiona@activeadventures.co.uk) they will sort out you flight and accommodation too and it is really good value for money. I have only ever done a course in the UK before. This was so different I could have been on another planet.

I love the people, the atmosphere, the water and the wind. The equipment is always new and trustworthy, and the instructors are helpful and professional, all of them! Good food, nice music, changing rooms, sun beds, showers, place to leave your equipment safely, to unfold and pump your kite, without queues, basically everything is great at the RedSeaZone!

Red sea zone people just make you feel at home, they are just naturally open and welcoming, I cannot think of anything better that than to look on your holidays

There where Alen Medak stopped Amr Elseyd Nemo continued from RedSeaZone and Adna Basic is a very happy kiter now. :) Kiting with 12 m2 Takoon Logg. Considering that she is only 50kg it is impressive. Thank you guys. :) Anyone wanting to learn this sport I think two world best instructors and now also our friends are Alen Medak in Croatia and Amr Elseyd Nemo in Egypt. Pick your location and make sure to have one of them on your side while learning.

After Speaking to Paula a few times via email I finally arrived to Redseazone. I am ver new to kiteboarding, but I was immediately impressed! The staff are all super welcoming and friendly, the location is very well set up, with food, drink, relax, sunbathe, retail, rental, drying and inflation area's all set up and ready to be utilised as and when they were needed.
Staff were helpful but not once did anyone try to encourage/push me into buy anything. All the instructors were helpful with giving advice (which was much needed being very new to the sport).
I had lessons with Hysam, he was very helpful and informative in his training and he was very patient with me also.
My one suggestion would be to bet communication devices for the students, as a lot of the time, with the wind (and the sound of me hitting the water) I couldn't hear what Hysam was telling me, which I did find frustrating at times.
Other than that, I really couldn't fault this great place

We spent 2 weeks in Egypt in Decemebr 2016 - 2nd time at Red Sea Zone. Out of 14 days we have been kiting 9 day - great wind, wonderful water, beautiful scenery, great spot and fantastic friendly people! The staff makes you feel comfortable and everyone is very helpful, Molly (the dog) takes care of the safety:)
We highly recommend the place.
Please take with you surfing shoes to protect you from the sharp reefs.

Ciao mio marito ha problemi a camminare, fa kite , siamo alla ricerca di una struttura accessibile, e non lontana dalla spiaggia dove possiamo fare kite in sicurezza, siccome con questa tavola da seduto è principiante....noi vogliamo venire in agosto unico periodo per noi possibile....vorrei capire anche le condizioni di vento...saluti fara

Hmmm, not sure about prices, you'd have to contact them. Their email is on their website. No accomodation at site, but various accommodations close by and transport is very cheap

Hi, I am looking to stay in El Gouna with my son mid July, we are both beginner kitesurfers, have bought the kit, done the courses in the UK and can get going on the sea. Am looking at the kitesurf areas and from what I can see the Redseazone are well placed as a location, and prices are OK too. I will probably book the holiday with Thomas Cook all inclusive but..................
The question is, are Redseazone the best of the kitesurf centres for the Kite area to use - are there any real reef issues? and is the kit OK or should I take my own kit, I might take my own Cabrinah kites, 8 and 11m with lines and boards?
Hope you can help out there
