About
Kitesurfing Village is located in front of a 7km long, flat water lagoon. There are also two other smaller lagoons, with deeper water, and a 5km long sandy beach in front of turquoise sea. The sandy beach and the total absence of corals and rocks, make this site very pleasant and safe. Moreover, given the particular geological conformation, this spot offers very stable thermal winds which blow with medium intensity almost every day, making this the perfect place for those who still needs to learn how to stay on the board, but also for professionals who want to practice more advanced tricks. What makes this site one of the best in the world, is definitely the wind! In effect, this spot is unique, unlike the rest of Egypt. Here, you will find extremely stable thermal winds almost every day. Their average intensity is between 16 and 22/23 knots: the perfect winds for those who want to practice kitesurfing on a professional level, and both for those who want to take a holiday in Egypt to learn how to kitesurf! We also offer the possibility to organize fantastic downwinds in the turquoise sea. A sea where you can often see herds of sociable dolphins, which will accompany you for part of your journey! A unique experience! This incredible spot, together with our always helpful and friendly staff, will make your stay a “perfect kitesurfing holiday”!

I went to the Kitesurfing Village Ras Sudr with my friend as we wanted to take kite lessons. The Italian manager, Fabio was very helpful in giving us all the information we needed. We decided to book the course and to get the Creative Green hotel as accommodation, which is possibly the best option for kiters as you are close to the spot.
Upon our arrival in Cairo, a driver was sent to us by the manager Fabio to pick us up at the airport and in a couple of hours we arrived at Ras Sudr.
The kite spot, Kitesurfing Village Ras Sudr is just on front of the hotel, so after breakfast we could start with the lessons. We were assigned to Nour, a young local guy which was very patient and helpful in teaching us the basics of kite and the further steps. We also had the chance to take some lessons with Ahmed who is very good too and professional. There are three lagoons at Kitesurfing Village Ras Sudr, which is for me the best option to learn: no obstacles, dangerous rocks or trees, the water is just above your knee so it’s perfect to learn how to maneuver the kite and how to do the water start. Advanced lessons are available too. Kites, boards and all the things you need for kite surfing are available at the spot and everything it's all brand new!
Italian coffee, beverages, shakes + smoothies and beers are available at the spot.
At the end of the vacation we were able to pay by credit card and then we were brought back to the airport in time for our flight.
As for all things there is the other side of the coin… Once you are there you don’t want to come back to your normal life and office, believe me!

The kitesurfing bays are beautiful to watch, but everything else was terrible. Nothing works in the rooms when you check in, and we had 5 rooms and they all have several problems, TV that doesn't work, AC, shower, door locks. You could spend a whole day with the maintenance team to bring the room to just be bearable, that if they decided to help.
Food in the buffet is very poor, dishes and cutlery are dirty, the AC is closed in all indoor areas including the all day restaurant.
Extremely unhelpful staff on the front desk.
Overall, a terrible experience that I don't advise anyone to repeat.

I decided to come here for the first time because 1 of my friends took the corse and told me about his amazing experience with the place , but when I came here I found that what he said was not enough , amazing instructors , perfect spot but all this is not compared to how friendly people are here , "FABIO " the owner of the place , 1 of the most decent professional people I ever met , truly , coming here is 1 of my best trips ever , and having the corse in that center is beyond amazing.

Having booked the trip last minute and going in with no idea what to expect, everything about Fabio's kite surfing village exceeded our expectations!
1. ease of organisation - Fabio is very responsive and detailed on emails
2. friendliness of the team, especially Fabio as an amazing host, making sure that your every need is met
3. excellence of the instructors - Simone was unbelievably good. I had one on one tuition with Simone for a week and we made very impressive progress due to his technical expertise and the very obvious enjoyment he gets from his job
4. Spa - amazing way to relax each evening, sauna, spa, steam room.
Such a relaxing week. There is nothing else to do at Ras Sudr other than kite surf, relax and catch the sun. We went as complete beginners and felt that our needs were catered for excellently with great progression each day.
It's a very convenient setup with the hotel metres away from the kite village which is only metres away from shallow beach and lagoons which make ideal learning conditions.
The Green hotel is average quality, but the buffet dinner is of surprising good quality. Highly recommend Fabio, Simone and the team at kite surfing village!!

The kitesurfing village is a perfect place to do kitesurfing from beginner to expert. Lagoons and stable wind offer great conditions of riding.
For beginners needing some courses, monitors are very nice and skilled.
The center is very comfortable and well equipped to chill out between two kiteboard sessions (TV, bar, couches, video games, music, dancefloor...)
The equipment is from very good quality and there is always someone to help you on beach and water.
We had a very nice week there :-)
