Three adults & a 5 year old (her first mini golf experience) and at the 8th hole, an employee told us to hurry up because people were complaining they were having to wait. We offered to the group behind us to go ahead of us and the guy responds that it wouldn’t help because we were holding up EVERYONE. Haven’t played mini golf in years so I’m no expert, but I hardly think 45 minutes is an excessive amount of time to play 18 holes, whereas I do feel $47 is an excessive amount of money to spend to be told to rush through because of rude and impatient patrons.

Pretty horrible that they make adults pay to be on the course when we just want to watch and help our 8 year old twins have fun. Not a family friendly establishment.
In addition, my son’s ball got stuck in the free-play game right above the winning slot and they refused to give him a free game.

This is a fairly nice mini golf course but is egregiously overpriced, even for a resort town. Three adults in the morning, total cost $45. At the end is a game where you drop your ball in and can win a free game. My wife won a free game but the ticket dispenser didn’t generate a ticket, and the teener behind the counter said there was nothing she could do. What a rip off!

No mini golf has ever charged to just go in with family and watch our Grandchildren play. They claim you have to pay because of insurance reasons. Go down to the Go Fish and that was fantastic! The guy behind the counter was great!!!!

Crazy expensive, even for a resort town. Course is minimalistic. Some holes are built into a “cave” and the kids thought that was cool. I say to skip this, it’s not worth the expense. If your kids don’t insist then don’t bother.

Pirate Island is a regular stop for my family during our summers in Avalon. It's fun night of mini golf and my kids love it. Watch out for the water spritz as you return your ball at the end of your game.
If you want to make the night even better walk across the street for ice cream after you finish 18.

Course is fun and fairly well maintained. More pine needles and debris on course than other years.
We had 3 generations golfing together (ages 75 to 11).

What a fun miniature golf experience. We went twice during our week vacation and had a great time each time. Very well run, nice staff. The layout is very good, and well maintained. Lots of fun.

Pirate Island got a bit of an upgrade this winter, and the course is in much better shape. While a little expensive (and it would be nice to have children's pricing), it is reliable and a fun hour with kids on the island.

we usually make a stop here on our family vacation every year. Typical beach mini golf course, but still fun and an enjoyable time.
