We spent two days on two fantastic trip with these guys, and couldn't have asked for a better crew! We were promptly greeted each day by our outstanding guide Alejandro, who was full of knowledge, passionate about his country, and the wildfire surrounding it. He was extremely professional, courteous, and with an extensive knowledge of every part of every island we visited.

Then we got the pleasure to meet the crew onboard, starting with Captain Leonardo, who was an outstanding gentleman, safety first, but also such a great guy! Then you had our deck man and dingy boat transfer driver John "Cena", who was so polite, extremely professional, and always safety first. Not to forget the guy who fed us incredible meals for two days, Chef Felix "Navidad"! He made us some awesome very tasty seafood dishes, as well as some very good snacks!

The boat itself was perfect for the 2 day trips we did, with an upper deck for viewing, the Captains "Bridge" where we had lunch twice, a loading and unloading area with a small lounge and kitchen, and finally a deck below with two small bedrooms and bathrooms. It was clean, safe, and very comfortable for our small group.

The day trips were absolutely amazing, starting with the North Seymour Island tour, where we got real close to Blue Footed Boobies, and other wild bird species. We also got to see half dozen of baby sea lions just hanging out in a small pond, which made our day.

Our second day trip has to be the most amazing one, where we sailed to Bartolomé Island (roughly 2 hours each way), where we had breathtaking views of the bay and volcanic rock formation, as well as some of the best snorkeling anywhere in the World. We actually swam with wild sea lions, as well as white tip reef sharks, large sting rays, and an abundance of fish.

This was definitely one of the most amazing and exhilarating experience I've ever had anywhere in the World! It wouldn't have been possible without this outstanding group of guys, who truly made us feel like part of their family! Two thumbs way up to our amazing guide Alejandro, Captain Leonardo, First mate John "Cena", and Chef Felix "Navidad" for such an incredible time!

In summary, the tour aboard the Santa Fe III exceeded all my expectations. From the delicious food to the impeccable attention and constant safety, it was an unforgettable experience that I recommend to everyone. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Bartolomé with this wonderful team! I give more details about the highlights of this experience below:

1. Food:
From the moment we boarded the yacht, we were welcomed with a delicious sandwich and fresh fruit available all day. The lunch prepared on board by the crew was simply amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more!

2. Safety and attention:
The guide started the trip with a very informative talk about all the safety points, which made us feel very comfortable and prepared. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs at all times, making the trip even more enjoyable.

3. Comfort:
The yacht is a beautiful vessel, in excellent condition in all its spaces. It has two bathrooms, which was very convenient given the number of people on board. Every corner of the yacht is designed for comfort, and it really shows.

4. Unforgettable experience:
Bartolomé is an island you absolutely must visit. The view from the top is spectacular, and snorkeling with penguins and dolphins was something I will never forget. They provided us with life jackets, and the guide joined the group in the water to explain the marine life, making snorkeling a safe and educational experience. Additionally, the crew followed us in a boat at all times, which made me feel very safe.

Our guide, Diego, and the bus came right on time. We had a small group our day - only seven of us. The boat supposedly holds up to 24 guests, though that would have been very crowded. We got up to the channel and we’re taken by zodiac to the boat. She is supposedly 12 years old, but she looks older. Everything works, but it seems dated.

We sailed to N Seymour and Diego took us ashore. He was informative (more so than the last guide I had in the Galapagos). We walked around for a bit over an hour, and then went back to the boat.

Lunch was next. Good fish with rice, salad and some previously frozen vegetables.

After a short ride, we jumped in the water for some snorkeling. We went a long distance along the shoreline, but didn’t see a ton (some sharks, one ray, schools of fish, but no sea lions or iguanas).

Later, we walked a beach with turtle nests on the north side of Santa Cruz and then went back home.

Great day trip out to Bartolomé Island. Upon arrival at the island we did the hike to Playa Dorada Overlook, which is the summit on this part of the island and a great view of Pinnacle Rock. Not a difficult hike since stairs have been installed. Worth the effort and a crazy volcanic environment on the island. Next we snorkeled around the Pinnacle Rock area, saw many fish, sharks, penguins (on the rocks). Great day. The boat ride out and back where made very enjoyable with the great crew!! Our itinerary referenced a boxed lunch, and we had a hot lunch prepared onboard by the cook with desert, it was great. The crew was very warm & super welcoming. Highly recommend them & will seek them out next time we come back to the Galápagos.

We took 3 day tours with Diego and loved them all. A big thanks to Diego & his crew for making our Galapagos tour of the islands a special time we'll remember! We appreciated all the guide's explanations of the locale & animals and especially loved all the snorkeling sites. We enjoyed the good food and came away with lots of gorgeous pictures.

We went on day trips on two different yachts, and Santa Fe was definitely the better experience. The yacht is quite spacious, and the crew and the service is excellent. Diego and his team were great as guides and at providing top notch service to the tourists.

We went to Bartolome on Yacht Santa Fe III. It is comfortable, well maintained and the crew is fantastic. The tour included a walk up many stairs to an incredible view of Pinnacle Rock. Our group included people of many ages and abilities and the guide managed us well. The water was clear and calm for snorkeling, with penguins joining us. The warm meal and dessert cooked on the yacht was delicious. Great day trip!

Great day out including snorkelling with sharks, reef and fish, a short hike and delicious lunch. Friendly crew, ample space and options for those who are not strong swimmers to go in a little tender when needed. We saw: loads of seals, iguanas, blue footed boobies, manta rays, reef sharks, tiger sharks and more. Would highly recommend.

We booked a day tour to Santa Fe Island on Santa Fe III with Galapagos a la Carte, and had an excellent day. Our guide, Diego was knowledgable - he's been a Galapagos Naturalist Guide for 43 years!
He took his time and allowed us to enjoy every moment of the tour. Visibility for snorkeling was very good. The food was tasty and there was plenty of room on the boat for everyone.
