This was such a great way to get from island to island!!! I would so much rather fly than taking the boat. I always get sick and its so bumpy I felt like I was going to fall out of the boat! The flight is nice and easy and the view landing on the volcanic islands is incredible!!! Amazing pictures from up there!

It was very exciting to travel with Fly Galápagos, I had not done it before and I really enjoy it. Thank you for your service, I would not have made it by boat ;)

Way Above and Beyond I don’t normally write reviews. That is not because I am lazy or that good service does not deserve a review to help other people find them. It is because I am a very busy man and have to prioritize how I spend my time. Family first, my business second, then myself, though I have been told I ought to come first in order to take the best care of the family and business. My point is, if I have a choice, spend time with my son or write a review? Always it is going to be spend time with my son. In this case I am writing a review because Fly Galapagos went way above and beyond to take care of my son. We were in the Galapagos having a (plug whatever superlative, actually plug ten of them in) time. One morning we had a delightful flight between San Cristobal and Isabela islands. It felt like a Disneyland ride, except for it was real. As we left the runway, bobbling into the sky over “the azure waters”, our Galapagos National Park guide sighted a pod of whales. He tapped the shoulder of the pilot and pointed down at the pod and then put his palms together in front of the pilot, in essence asking “please”. I found out later the pilot had put his job security in jeopardy by agreeing to alter the flight plan in such a way that we were able to fly over the pod of whales, circling around twice. We have photos of whales breaching, fluking, mothers with calves and all taken from I don’t know, maybe 200 feet above. But even that experience would not likely have motivated me to write this. What has motivated me was that once we arrived Isabela, were checked into our hotel, ready to take a kayak tour to see penguins, etc. my six-year old son realized Snarkelvich (Snark for short), his “teddy monkey” was missing. Was left on the plane, in the airport, at the hotel? Dropped somewhere? Long story short, guess who returned Snarkelvich to my son’s arms? The pilot who had shown us the whales. The thing is, the same pilot flew us from Isabela to Baltra a few days later. Yes, he did get reprimanded for the whale thing, but assured me that it wasn’t really that big a deal. The company did however give him a plaque at the company meeting the day after our flight to Isabela. He showed me a picture of it on his phone. It was one of those cheezie wood things backing a cheap metal plate on which was inscribed, “Snark Hunter Extraordinaire”. My point is, here you have a company with the common sense to hire people so dedicated to taking care of the people who are in their care, that they are willing to overlook a small “miscalculation” on the part of one of their employees and reward them for their extra effort in another area. I wish there were more companies in the world like them. I’d be proud if my company ever received a recommendation like this. Gordon B Jones August 17, 2019

I had the best experience with Fly Galapagos. I was upgraded to the copilot seat! I couldn’t believe my eyes! Galapagos is even more amazing when seen from the sky. The pilot gave us a small aerial tour as we oversaw some main attractions. We even saw the Sierra Negra Volcano. This is an active volcano in the Galapagos!
