Went with a group of 5 friends, short walk from the parking lot (8mins) on sandy path. Easy to walk, there was even a lady in a special wheelchair with huge wheels who came to visit the beach, so cool! The water is very rocky, bring water shoes, some decent snorkeling but nothing spectacular. This beach is known for seeing... More

I went snorkeling with some friends here and I saw so much. I was swimming with Sea lions and then all of the sudden theres a sea turtle next to me. Then I swam a little farther out and saw some stingrays. It was amazing! Just don't touch the animals because they are still wild!

Las Loberias (loberias = "sea lions") is a nice beach a short distance from town (quick taxi or walk past airport). there's a small car park where the taxi will drop you off, follow the path towards the shore till it "T"s. Go to the right to walk through a lot of lava rocks with iguanas, frigate, boobies and other... More

only a short distance from San Cristobal. it is even possible to walk if you like to walk and don't mind the sun. There is a lot of sea lions and their pups swimming and sun bating. You see lots of fish and sea turtles, and sea lions while snorkeling. Sea lion pups call their moms' when they want to... More

Awesome beach. When u get to the trail, head about a quarter mile to the left to get to the sandy beach and cove. Sea lions are everywhere and are highly entertaining with all their noises and antics. Snorkeling is great as well. Bring a wet suit if ya have one. Straight out in the middle about 100m out is... We went several times to Las Loberias, morning and afternoon. You can go with the taxi which cost $3 or you can walk from the city centre (about 2,5km). There are many sealions laying in the beach and swimming in the sea. When you enter the beach you walk to the left. There is a path where you can walk... More

Nice place to go, by taxi only 3 dollars. We even just the way up there to do our morning exercise of running. Its about 2,5 km one way from the city. There are a lot of sealions. If you plan to stay on the beach, take some mosquito spray with you, also they are there a lot. There is... More

If you have a morning free in Puerto Baquerizo, take a taxi and go to Las Loberias (3 USD). At the time i visited it there were plenty of puppies sea lions. If you walk along the path on the rocks, you will see plenty of marine iguanas and birds. You can go back to Puerto Baquerizo by walking (around... More
