I knew nothing about this episode in history. It was a very quaint and solemn little museum. It was also great to visit the school on site.

Except for the view, little to see but nice introduction to countryside as it gets rural quickly. The view is good too. I liked the memorial to the war in town much better.

Very nice place, with a beautiful view over the bay of Dili, well arranged and with informative banners very well documented. I really liked it, it's worth the trip

There is not a lot to see here, the cafe was not open but there is quite a bit of information to read on the walls. Nice views of Dili from here. I would not go out of my way to come here, but if...More

Worth a visit when in Dili if simply to appreciate the sacrifices of these people over the years. The story is in 3 languages across a wall of an open sided simple iron structure looking down over the city.

We nearly missed this on our way back into Dili from Maubisse. It is a cafe on Saturday's but just an open air museum the rest of the time. Heaps of info written in Tetum, Portugese and English about the WWII experience of the locals...More
