This is a small but very good museum. It gives a good history of the struggle for independence of the Timorese people. Anyone going to Dili should put aside an hour to find out more about the country.

Really interesting exhibition on the struggle of the Timorese over the past and it's different colonisers. There are fascinating facts and artifacts. Unfortunately the end movie didn't seem to be playing which was a pity as it probably ties a lot of the intense reading...More

A environment for what Timor could offer. Somewhat small but sufficient for the purpose. Often there is another ad hoc display of cultural value. Worth visiting and supporting the initiative for a dollar.

The Museum is only 2 or 3 blocks from the Port (as opposed to the airport which is a lot further). Easy walking distance.
