Yet another excellent Jersey Brewery. We finally made it here, I've been drinking Carton beers at bars for years but never visited the Brewery until today. We had a few of their offerings. The banana cream pie beer was delicious. I had to buy a four pack to go. Good job Carton.

I've noticed this company taking over the local bars the past few years, but never took the time to go visit. So glad I finally did, it was a lot of fun. When you walk in go upstairs to find a small bar where they will offer you a tour of the brewery. While it is a small brewery there is a lot of work that they put into making their beer and they all are very passionate about it, its obvious while on the tour. The building has great history and the your was very interesting. After the tour pay $5 to sample their 6 beers, you can't beat it. If you're just looking for something fun to do on the weekend this is it, stay as long as you want, and enjoy good beer.

Looking to do something a little different? Check out this little hideaway. First take a guided tour to learn about the workings of the micro-brewery downstairs in this quaint old brick building and then upstairs to sample the original, unique flavored brews they produce. The owners are fun and friendly and a great time was had by all.

I know this is a brewery, but I wasn't impressed by any of the people that worked there (minus our tour guide). The bartenders & girl we met (maybe a manager) seemed more interested in hanging out & chatting with one another rather than educating myself & my friend about the beer. It was unwelcoming & felt more like we were invading their turf. Very similar to a college type atmosphere. Seemed like all the employees were there for drinks & to hang out. Not sure if we'll go back.

Had one of their beers at Edison Ale House. Next day we went on the tour. Simple no frills tour but every employee loves working there and it shows. Exceptional staff. We paid $5 and tasted 6 different beers. My favorite is the 077xx. Great laid back atmosphere and amazing beer. Great way to spend an hour or two with some friends.

A excellent source for a local microbrew. If you like sour beer Monkey Chase the Weasel I is not too be missed. The brewery tour is a fun way to meet the staff and then it's up to the tasting room

For someone who has lived in the area (and has been drinking Carton brews at local establishments) for years, I am ashamed to admit that I just went to the brewery recently. Rather than hanging my head in shame, I'm just going to boast about how great this brewery is! It. Is. Awesome. Do not miss this local gem.

Upon entering the brewery you are greeted by your enthusiastic brewery tour guides. As a craft beer fan, I can relate to their passion and excitement. They walk you through the brewing process, tell you what makes their beer taste so darn good, and give you a little interesting history on the building as well. Then it is time for the best part of all! The beer sampling! For $5 we were able to taste 6 of their beers. These are not little tiny tastes, but good sized samples. The beer is so fresh and they have such a variety of styles. They make a couple of sour beers which, at first, I did not think I was going to like, but their Something Like Sandy turned out to be my favorite of all!

I'm adding this to my list of places to bring all of my out of town friends to so they can experience the best the Jersey Shore has to offer.

Pick up a growler of Boat and then head over to one of the many fantastic restaurants in the Atlantic Highlands. What are you waiting for? Go now!

The beer is fantastic. Local folks, with local knowledge. Cute little tasting bar. I'd highly recommend it for an afternoon. Then bring some home for the evening.

Have been a few times with family and friends and all company is in agreement this is somewhere to frequent as much as possible! The tasting room is decorated with a chill hang out feel of low couches and dim lighting. Every beer they have is more than "drinkable"! I have been to breweries before where I didn't want to finish each tasting but this place makes me drink them all and of course get a growler to take home! My favorite last time I was there was the Carton Canyon and they even had a gluten free Boat that wasn't too shabby either (especially for being gluten free) I'll be stoping back by to get a growler soon! and have to compliment the branding of the place too; love the neon orange.

When I walk in there, I feel like I've stepped into Vermont or something. Unlike typical Jersey, everyone in there is nice and happy. It's just chill and earthy. The tour is very interesting. Oh, and of course, the beer is GREAT. All of them. It's funny because even if there are types of beer that I'm not normally crazy about, Carton manages to make me think that it's my fave. For example, I hate hoppy beers but the Harvest brew and Boat and xx7(or something) are so tasty. I don't drink Guinness, but Milk is amazing to me. Also, the Pumpkin and BDG have been repeatedly filling my growler. That's the other thing I love... run around the block to fill my growler!! And I'll just mention again that everyone that works there is nice and taught me a lot at the same time. Currently one of my fave places in AH
