We stopped in here on a Monday afternoon after a getaway at the Borgata. Its great that Ripley's is open year round. It was a perfect way to spend a snowy afternoon in March. It was $42 for two adults, which is a little steep but this is something I've been wanting to do in AC so I was willing to splurge a little. We really enjoyed all the exhibits and spent more than an hour going through the entire thing. There were alot more historical artifacts than we were expecting and we were really impressed. You might see a piece of the Berlin wall, a life mask made of Abraham Lincoln, artifacts from the indigenous people of West Africa, or the flag flown on the spacecraft of a NASA Gemini mission. The parts about "giant" men with a pituitary gland issue being part of a circus or Mr. Ripley "loving all things Chinese including this woman" are a little cringey and some of the artifacts seem like maybe they should be returned to their country of origin. But overall, it was a surprisingly enjoyable time and we would recommend this to anyone looking to do something interesting in AC on a bad weather day.

My wife and I stopped in here in the spur of the moment as we strolled the boardwalk. We were pleasantly surprised. The museum is a combination of kitsch and serious history. See shrunken heads and sections of Berlin Wall. Much of the museum is interactive (try to reach into the gem display and see what happens – fun!). I did notice a staff member passing through and wiping everything down during this Covid time and the staff distributes plastic gloves which I do recommend wearing. If you are a NJ buff, you can see displays on the Jersey Devil and a perfect optical illusion of a disappearing woman under the boardwalk (apparently long term AC residents swear there is a woman who appears under the boardwalk and this was the inspiration for this exhibit). This is actually worth the price of a admission in my view, a fun little diversion.

For 7 of us, the cost was $149.71 - way overpriced for the same tired exhibits. This is a place that will eventually be replaced on the Boardwalk as it struggles to keep up basic cleaning and looks like it came out of the 70s. Other than a picture of my grandson with the Hulk piece, I did not see much worth photographing.

My advice is to spend your money on a movie - you will spend about the same amount - with concessions.

40 plus dollars for 2 adults with less than exciting exhibits. Went here years ago and same stuff. No evidence of active cleaning...gloves given at the door were useless. It took so long to open them..worse than the fresh fruit and vegetable bags you get at the grocery store. Most people did not wear them. Close quarters and no one social distanced as kids ran from exhibit to exhibit. Only took an hour to go through...over priced and dull. Save your money.

Okay so I just went and enjoyed it. But I got a really creepy feeling the entire time. Almost like I wasn’t supposed to be looking at some of the things. Like the rooms with the tribal items. Gave me a creepy feeling. I also felt like someone was watching me the entire time.

It was a rainy day so we decided to check out Ripley’s. Not everyone in our party wanted to go, so it ended up as myself and a 10 and 13 yr old. We all had a good time. Some very odd and strange exhibits, just what you would expect. A bit pricey, but with not much to do in a rainy day, it was worth the hour of entertainment.

We’ve been to these throughout the United States. In Gatlinburg Tennessee, Saint Augustine Florida, Branson Missouri and in Myrtle Beach. Just wish they would update them and put in some new stuff. The old saying..lif you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.

Our daughter wanted to go and I have to say it was fun.
So many little strange facts that you have to re- think the way you view everyday things/events.
We searched for a coupon because it was a little more than it should have been but it was interesting.
Not something I'd do again because it's just one of those one and done things.

We enjoyed the amount of time we were able to spend walking around. Enjoyed hands-on activities and learning. Had many laughs and appreciated some special surprises. Not a mind-blowing experience, but a nice way to spend some time.

Been here several times over the years. It's always fun. Nice museum for young children and adults alike! Lots of weird, gross, fun and exciting things to see. Some things may be a little scary for toddlers and younger children.
