Casino Trip!!!
Jun 2021 • Solo
Linda here! After my divorce I decided I need to catch up with my own thoughts and have some fun, LOL! I didn’t and still don’t understand what a casino is but my friends recommended I go to one and “win big”. They’re so nice! LOL, anyways I finger got stuck in a slot machine and I think I almost lost it! I didn’t though, what I lost was a boat load of cash that I got from my divorce settlement. Anyhoo, I got a little tipsy there and nearly ran someone off the road when driving home, LOL! Fun times, would go again! Lots of love from Linda!

Caesars Entertainment hotels much better!
Jun 2021
I decided to stay at Borgata after getting tired of the Caesar's hotels. We booked a room for one night June 15....it was disappointing as the MLife rewards center could not print cards as their system was down. Lost a lot of money but was not even able to gain any points and we even had to pay for parking. Frustrating!

Not worth the drive
May 2021 • Friends
Why is the MLife system so off? Was there for the first time this past Sat until Mon driving all the way from NH (6 and a half hours) to rack up tier points. I had already read that Borgata's system was slightly off from the MGM properties in Vegas but I had no idea just how off until I went. I spent almost 2k between games, lodging and food which I had charged to my room and earned 0 Borgata slot dollars, 40 something in Express Comps, and my tier credits it seems barely moved up. I have been to Vegas twice, in Oct and most recently 3 weeks ago both were MGM properties where my play was clearly rewarded at both. Though my room there was absolutely lovely, it's not the goal at any casino to just stay in the room itself. I honestly feel the trip was a waste of time and $$. I even went to the MLife Desk to inquire why such a lack of rewards and the gentleman at the desk just shrugged and gave no real answers and simply said it could take 24 to 48 hours to fully reflect, which it clearly hasn't changed.. Again, the system is more then just off it's flawed when it comes to any player rewards. Both my friend and I decided that the stay was not worth the long drive at all. The visit was an eye opener to stick with MGM in Vegas where they very much show their appreciation to their patrons.

Classy place, up to date
May 2021
This was a good experience. They have a very nice, large poker room. Only downside of the Borgata is that it's location is where it is....need to taxi, Jitney or Uber to get to the Boardwalk. But it's a very nice casino with up to date machines, and it's within walking distance to Harrah's as well....which is another nice one. Will return to Borgata again and stay there. Part of the MGM family and it's one of the nice ones!

Not bad last visit but COVID has ruined things
Jun 2020
I was there right before covid and cust care is pretty bad. Today is May 18 and I really want to try and go back up there for my birthday (June 2).

So I called and it took 30 minutes to get them on the line. Then I ask for VIP host and it took another 30 minutes. I needed to know answers so VIP services put in a call to table games in PIT 1. They are allowing 3 people on tables so for me that's not good as I play in Pit 1 on Single zero and they only have 1 table. Yikes! Im not going to take a chance and fly up there and fight for table space. AC must be hurting with NJ restrictions and what sux is CDC is lifting restrictions for those vaccinated. This doesnt make sense

When none of the planets are lining up, its not good to gamble. Maybe I'll try another place. Borgato and AC is out . Im cancelling Hotel res.

Borgata Disappoints Again!
May 2021 • Couples
Yesterday my husband and I decided to have lunch and gamble a few hours at Borgata before checking in at Ocean’s.
The crab cake at Metropolitan had bits of shells in it. At least we know they use fresh clams. But really!
Next we tried using our cards in the machines but our passwords kept coming up as invalid. Therefore we weren’t able to access our free slot dollars.
I’m sure we could have gotten it straightened out if the line at the Rewards center wasn’t so long!
Needless to say we’re at Oceans now.
I used to love coming to Borgata but not anymore.

Disappointing Experience
May 2021
Having been long time gamblers at Borgata, we were excited to make our first “post-Covid” trip in over a year. What a terrible disappointment! Social distancing dividers at the tables (so few tables were actually open) made you feel like you were at home alone playing rather than in a casino with others. I can excuse them to a point for this since they are trying to keep players safe, but I can’t excuse them for making players stand in long, slow-moving lines at the Cashier window to cash out chips and slot tickets (you can no longer cash out tickets at a kiosk). Two cashiers open while all other windows remained closed. Very poor customer focus by Borgata management. Won’t be returning any time soon...

Fantastic Weekend
May 2021
Was there this past weekend and had a suite. Kudos to whoever decorated the suites. The colors are soft and relaxing the window curtains were so beautiful. There were little pops of color. It was VERY CLEAN. We also had room service which came quickly and was piping hot and well presented. We had dinner at Old Homestead and it was lovely. The Borgata doesn't disappoint .

Not so great
Apr 2021 • Couples
But it sure beats the places on the boardwalk that are being overrun by crime. We live close but will be going to Sugar House and Foxwoods instead. AC is not a place to feel good about anymore.

Not very clean.
Apr 2021 • Couples
My first time going to the borgata. Casino was nice. As far as the room I would’ve thought for the nice furnishings in the bathroom & room it would be much cleaner for a non smoking room. I had to clean the entire shower... wipe down everything in the room. The soap scum was terrible. There was and still is stuff under the bed and night tables. I was the head of housekeeping at a couple places and my assistants would have never allowed that room to be rented in the condition it was in. It was like the room was only stripped and the bed was made and garbage was taken out. Room smelled like stale smoke. No scent of cleaners at all. 2 garbage cans and one garbage bag. No wash cloths. The window although gorgeous view it had ... had hand prints and (are you sitting down?) footprints. I had to spend a hour cleaning before I could get ready to enjoy my evening. I would think with Covid there would be even higher standards on cleanliness, but I guess not. I left no tip but did lose money somewhere in the room. Beware and if your in room 3315 look under the light colored night table to see what I’m talking about.
Oh and I didn’t complain to the desk because I’m familiar with the process and I didn’t want to spend my night out waiting for things to be rectified.
