There aren't a lot of amenities left, here and maybe in most of AC after the money left town and went north into rich pockets. Needs more restaurants, a pool, more staff to be a four or five star casino. Right now, it's equivalent to a small town racino. No longer a destination.

Stayed there over Mlk weekend. The staff was very nice but that's where the good ended. There is no pool anymore. Rooms only have a fridge no microwave. Only place to eat in the hotel is only open a few hours a day. Our floor stunk of pot (could have overlooked it if I was not there with my 15... More

The rooms say updated but barely, no casino, completely non smoking hotel, however I booked the smoking room that was offered online. Staff nice. Nothing to do on site.

So my BF and I decided at last minute to take a drive to AC. We had no clue where we were gonna stay. Figured we would find something when we got down there. So nearing our adventure I pulled up hotels and we found the showboat. I thought the place was closed! But reading I found it had just... More

The Showboat recently reopened less than two weeks ago minus the casino and three dining options Of course there are bugs that need to be worked out, especially as this was only there second weekend open. First the cons. A post on their facebook page says that the 872 rooms have been "updated". I don't' know how many rooms have... More

The casino is closed, but now the hotel is back open. Just the Bpurbpn Tower. The place looks a but empty, but a few new restaurants on premises. Looks like 150 on Friday, and 350 plus fur Saturday night.

I have went to showboat early this summer and my room was filthy. There was wine spilled all over the carpet, half of the lights didn't work, and room service doesn't come every day. It's location was the best thing about the hotel. It was the cheapest hotel on the boardwalk. No surprise that this place closed down.
