Sadly, A/C could be so much better. If you LOVE to gamble then it's fine as long as you are careful. It's not a good idea to be out late alone. There are good restaurants and good shopping but it has a pretty high crime rate in Atlantic City so just aware of that and make sure you keep yourself... More

With so much shutting down it just seems kind of gloomy. It's still a boardwalk with things to do and there is still the beach! Sun and sand are always good, even in February

AC during the first week of Feburary was quite. The Boardwalk was empty, and a few shops opened mid-afternoon. Bally's Casino, Resorts, and Tropicana along the Boardwalk were humming. FREE parking at Resorts, but everywhere along the Boardwalk cost around $10-25.

They have rides for children and many attractions. If you like the night life they have casinos, bars, and dance clubs. I highly recommend this... More

Please take into consideration that we decided to visit it on a Sunday morning. We encountered friendly security staff, people walking their dogs, running or just taking that morning stroll. Everything was also super clean. Few business are closed but well kept.

Just returned from an RV show with the hubby and spent a little some time on the boardwalk. In the 90s AC was sprawling! but in the past 5 yrs it have seen much better days. I was engaged in AC 23 years ago so it will always hold a special place for me but it certainly needs a face-lift... More
