Had a great chair ride on the famous boardwalk and the famous rolling chairs. Chair Attendant was very talkative and new a lot about old Atlantic City.

While a bit chilly in Feb, it was easily walkable with many shops open even in the winter. There are push carts you can ride on for a fee as well as a little trolly if you don't want to walk.

We always enjoy going to the Boardwalk. Plenty to see and do. They have other modes of transportation (right on the boardwalk) incase you get tired and can't walk anymore. A MUST see while in AC!!

The Atlantic City boardwalk has improved substantially over the past few years. There use to be a lot of what I’d call riffraff between every block. What I mean is panhandlers. I truly applaud the city for finally taking action to cleanup the boardwalk so...More

Old and tacky. Might be better in summer, but very depressing off season. It could really use a complete overhaul.

Our April trip to Atlantic City Boardwalk was actually underwhelming. Not much activity anywhere, not in the casinos or on the Boardwalk. They were probably still recovering from hurricanes. Hope it's better soon but I won't waste my time going back.

Day or night, the AC boardwalk is a great experience. The sound of the ocean, the lights of the ferris wheel and casinos keep the energy up. Oceanview is beautiful.

Most shops and restaurants are open on weekends. All the hotels have restaurants as well. You can park in a lot for around 5 or $10 or one of the hotels. Prices range from,$10 to 25

ATlantic City Boardwalk in April 2016 (7 Replies)
Hi, I am planning a weekend getaway in Atlantic city next weekend. Has anybody been to AC this weekend (04/22 - 04/23) or the last weekend (04/16 - 04/17) ? Is the boardwalk and shops open ? Was hoping for options of things to do beyond the casinos. Thank you

The Boardwalk is always open and most shops should be open as well. The outlets and other shopping areas definitely will be open. End of April is a beautiful time to walk along the Boardwalk, might be a bit chilly early in the morning and later in the evening so pack a jacket or sweater.

Parking in Atlantic City ~boardwalk (11 Replies)
Hi there We are looking to come to Atlantic City in a week, I am checking hotels and have a question on parking. If you don't stay in a hotel on the boardwalk, but stay a few miles away and want to drive to the boardwalk is there parking lots to park your vehicle and what is the cost of them. I ask as that will make the difference in were and what hotel we stay at. Thank you PJohns

You can park at any casino's garage, weekday they're usually $5, weekends they're around $20 but I have found the claridge lot to be $5 sometimes. What prices have you come across, maybe we can help you choose your hotel.
