This is a once in a lifetime experience that will stay with me always. The hike was a bit off season so clay mud slicked paths from afternoon downpours made the hike additionally difficult. In the end the time spent was worth every slippery slide....More

The Lost City trek is a difficult but great adventure! Our guides Miguel and Mathias were amazing with us. They were kind and friendly during the entire trek and made our trip very enjoyable. We would recommend them to everyone. You have to be prepared...More

The 4 day trek really was stunning in so many ways, the journey itself is almost as much of an experience as the Lost City at the end, although only almost as the experience in the lost city really is like no other. I went...More

Three friends and I took on the Lost City trek. We had 0 hiking experience, but somehow we've managed to finish this hike! It is definitely challenging, especially the steep uphill parts. Steady and slow with occasional breaks to catch our breath was the answer....More

We did the 4 day trek in June. We booked with one of the small travel agencies in Santa Marta who quoted the same price as everyone else (800,000) but were able to haggle a bit. We ended up going with TurCol who you can...More

To begin with I would like to say wow, what a trek. The views on the way is magnificent. Rolling green hills, mountains in the horizon, so many colourful butterflies and a lost city that is more than just that one famous picture. I would...More

This is one of the hardest but also one of the most beautiful things I've ever done. The trek is very exhausting but you see so many amazing things. The people in our group but especially our guides Enrique and Mathias from Expotur were great....More

Beautiful scenery, wonderful swimming in the river, interesting history and the guides made sure to take really good care of everyone. I went with expotur but would consider other companies though as they seemed to lack a bit of professionality.

Hike was superb and am not going to repeat all the accolades of other reviews. We did the Salkantay trek in Peru and was far more strenuous physically. Our Expotur guides Andres and Ariel were fantastic and really kept an eye on us during the...More

Did this trek in early May after some fellow travellers recommended Expotur to me and I wasn't disappointed! Aris (guide) and Emilio (translator) were extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly and this ensured we had the best experience possible. The food and snacks provided, were sumptuous,...More

I agree with Chris O. It’s. mainly young people on the hike that seem to have loads of energy but all we met were very nice and well behaved and friendly. The paths are muddy especially in the rains. Take a poncho. Camps are... More
