Too many people and polluted badly 20 feet behind. Great tho if u walk a bit down, just be wary of rain and constant constant people selling everything and not taking a no!

I have been there during the trip to Islas Rosario. For me you can find better place in this part of Colombian coast. The beach is absolutely overcrowded loud and in my opinion not worth visting

Nothing special, can't be compared with the Cartagena Playa Blanca. Beach and water were dirty. Fortunately we weren't approached too often offered something to buy. It was cheap to get there from The city thou.

went on the boat trip over to the island which was pleasant as the water wasn't rough! Though we only booked the transportation we almost got put in a tour anyway so look out for that! I am Australian so I have very very high beach standards so maybe this is why I was a bit disappointed by the beach.... More

If you love the sea and a relaxing beach well this is not for you! If you really wanna go and see the surrounding of Cartagena just chose not to go over the weekends. The island is crowed of Colombian people. It smells of gasoline for all the water motors close to the river. The agency instead was okay. We... More

You can catch a boat from Rodadero to Playa Blanca for 12,000 COP return each. The ride is around 10 minutes with some nice views along the way. But then you get to the beach and it's not that great compared to others around the world (Australia or Asia). The water while warm is not that clear, sand is not... More

Octopus wasn't fresh the dish was recommended by the waiter but I wasn't a big fan maybe there other dishes are nice. Service was good and it's in a decent little alley way.. Wouldn't go back there in a hurry.

We had a mixed experience here. Be careful of "tour guides" - we ended up paying double what we should have, the guy was just trying to make a living and stayed with us all day getting us whatever we needed - but it got really irritating as he ended up adding cost to things that we could have got... Playa Blanca is beautifull. Sit at the beach with your cocktail and enjoy the salsa music at the background. There are a lot of local people enjoying the beach as well. The restaurants are not super. But you forget everything if you see the beautifull sunset.

My boyfriend and I went to this beach yesterday from Caragena. We knew about avoiding the tour operators on the street so tried to get a direct boat instead. We were still ripped off as you have to pay quite a few taxes at different stages - ended up paying almost 90.000 when we were told it was 70.000 all... More
