This is the main attraction of San Andrés, but you have to pay around 40.000COP to be bored. It's FULL of tourist, the food is expensive, the beaches are not that nice either. The only nice thing are the iguanas. But it's not worth it.

It could have been a nice day on this superb island. You loose too much time on transfer. However it is just too crowded, there are not enough loungers, not enough shade. Food is a nightmare... If you want relax or enjoy wildlife go somewhere else!

While there is no question its a cute little island, it is a serious tourist trap, craming as many people on it as humanly possible, and then some. We paid 25K pesos/person for the acuario (writing a review on that mess next) and then on to J.C. Our boat guy was Carlos, from the "Don Carlos" skiff. This guy couldn't... More

Great views, great ocean... THOUSANDS of people in a tiny, hot, rocky island. It's a tourist trap in all the sense of the word.

I went with George who also owns a restraunt on the island and had a great experience. His seafood was out of the world and he's a good guy to top it off! The Island itself is amazing and not far from shore. Good people, great water, good times!

The place is amazing. The beach is fantastic. The color of the ocean is beautiful. The boat ride to get there is also great. But look out for the tourist traps. As soon as you arrive they will explain the working of the island for you, and try to convince you to buy and pay for a lunch there. You... More

If one looks at this little coral reef island from the beach at San Andres one inmediatly thinks: got to see that, then when you actually get there you realise that like so many places nature delivers, then the tourist industry goes and with very little creativity, spoils it. The whole purpose of the many excursion organisers is to extract... More
