We wanted to find something to do to give the beach a break. Found a great groupon for the splash park. Would probably not pay door price for this.
My 9 year old (girl) was too "grown" and pouted and sat the entire time. Water was also too cold for her. The 8 year old (boy) had a blast. He really enjoyed the bucket and I must admit I did as well. We arrived early, so there were still plenty of chairs and we scored a spot under an umbrella.
I would not return due to the age of the kids but if I had a toddler I would def visit again. I would recommend maybe 6 and under.

Many things to do but you not really good for babies. Definitely have to come back to take full advantage of this place. You do have to pay but there are different prices depending if you also want to use the miniature golf. Just for the water park cost us $5 each during the week.

The kids loved this splash water park overlooking the beach. It was clean and not crowed. There are bathrooms and changing rooms inside as well. Wonderful way to rinse off the sand while cooling off!

When this first opened it was something fun and different to bring your children too. They have not kept up with maintenance of the splash park and charge too much to enter. The foam floors are coming up and it's dirty. I would not waste your time or money here. The beach is cleaner, fun and less expensive.

My kids love this place and want to come here constantly. It's relatively clean,
in a great spot and $20 for the whole family for what essentially is the whole day
can't be beat. I think some of the less-than-stellar reviews here are people with
unrealistic expectations and spoiled kids. Sorry, no video games! ;-P Great place
for family with young kids for summer time fun. High recommend!

Now why is it that there aren't more of these places ? We watched the kids have an absolute blast at this place and it made me look back at my own childhood. It is not expensive and the kids (and adults) all were having a ball. I loved the big tea cup and waited until it filled and such screams of joy from the kids as it tipped over a ton of water.. such laughs and good times. DO NOT miss this place when is Asbury Park and bring your camera. Memories will be created !! Enjoy !

I have a 2 and a 7yr and both girls found it boring. It was small with a few sprinklers. Thank god I purchased tickets from Groupon or I would have been mad to pay full price. My kids stayed in for about 45m and was ready to leave and go to beach. Wont visit again not even with groupon deal.

Kids love running through this place. It is clean and they are courteous. Large pail fills and dumps on kids. Numerous sprinklers to run through. Not for toddlers.

We have been going here since our daughter was 3, she is now 7 and she still LOVES it. As for another reviewer saying it was "boring"....please keep in mind, this isn't a water park, it is a splash park. Lots of fun misters and squirters, several are interactive. Lots of small holes on the ground where water randomly shoots up....it is really, really fun. The ground never gets hot, and is smooth for little feet. Tons of lounge chairs and an ocean view. Perfect break from the sand....(which actually DOES get boring for my child after about 3 hours) and the all-day admission price is a great deal. You can also bring in food. :) Love it!

No pool of any type. It has various sprinklers and fountains. The water temperature felt great but we were there when it was 90 outside. The water felt lukewarm.

There is a playground on the beach across the boardwalk, not a part of the splash park.

The park is small and simply has fountains and splash features ( no slides, pools etc) So, a 12 y/o would most likely feel quickly bored.

On Groupon it's $12. The regular admission is $20. Oh and thats for a family, so I take that as 4 people, but I'm not sure..
