Hot Sand is the country's only glassblowing studio where you can try glassblowing. Just stop in during our scheduled Walk-in hours, pick from our array of objects, choose your color and design options and we'll pair you up with a glassblower. You will sit with the glassblower throughout the creation of your piece and use your own breath to blow it up!

My kids love going to Hot Sands. First off, it's just neat looking at the process of glass being made and molded. Second, it's fun to be a part of the experience. Although it is quite expensive and age limits for diffrent activities (for obvious reasons) it is worth the treat. The few times we've gone, we have visited the... More

Took my wife for her birthday. We both made drink glasses. What a great time. I'd highly recommend this for almost anyone. The artists that helped us were super attentive. We both really enjoyed ourselves. Highly highly recommend this.

Excellence in Glass. They can and will teach you how to blow glass! Please understand that blown glass is a two day venture.. so, allow two days to receive your personal creation as the glass will need to cure in a kiln until the following day. Nice people, nice experience.

This is our second visit to Hot Sand. We took our daughter there for her birthday two year now. The staff is excellent! They explain the entire process and help you make a variety of items. We did not make an appointment either time, and did not have to wait more than a half hour or so either time. It... More

Kids wanted to spend time on glassblowing in Venice and I could not accommodate. After coming back to US, looked for glassblowing close by and found this. Just walked in, no reservations necessary. Signed up for a pumpkin and a drinking glass. It took 20 mins per kid and $50-$70 based on the color/shape choices. Fun experience for kids to... More
