Our family had a great adventure with Paisadventure’s in July. Everything was excellent. We traveled in the coffee region. The trip included numerous major historical, religious, cultural, and social sites, as well as many special events and attractions that were unique and memorable. Nick did a superb of planning and then making the trip happen. He provided a safe and sensible trip the was well managed, even during the pandemic. The hotels were first rate, comfortable, and memorable. Nick knew some great places to eat that made the dining times additional highlights of the trip. While everything was exceptional quality, Paisadventure provided a great value.

Colombia was safe and the people were warm and welcoming. I would certainly highly recommend Paisadventure to anyone who is seeking a memorable trip.

I love Paisadventure! Thank you for opening Colombia’s Coffee region, el Cafetero in the Andes Mountains to me! There is SO MUCH to do and see in Colombia, it really is a golden treasure. Colombia is VERY SAFE during Covid, especially the villages and rural regions, and everyone in Colombia adheres to very strict safety protocols-I felt safer in Colombia than the US! Overall, the country is safe, the food and juices are the most rich I’ve ever tasted, and the people are the friendliest people I have ever met. Nick and Marisol of Paisadventure are the best guides, taking me to unknown towns and pueblos to explore local culture, cuisine, history, natures and hikes, and the best part-the coffee! I was able to try locally produced coffee from a number of farms, these family owned fincas displayed the richness of the Colombian culture and their drive for the greatest cup of coffee in flavor anywhere in the world! I even got to meet Marisol’s family, who are the most welcoming and wonderful people, they fed me, took me out for a lovely dinner, and even invited me to their son’s birthday party, so I got the full Colombian experience of the “Paisa Region”. Nick is an expert and constantly double checked the Covid precautions for our trip, checked on the availability of the boutique restaurants, cultural attractions, and boutique hotels during this time, and made sure he was up to date on his cultural, historical, and regional facts. He was even willing to put together a reduced package for a future trip for me with my parents, who are also excited to come down in July to explore more of Colombia with me! Thank you again Paisadventure! I will certainly be back to explore more of this remarkable country! Gracias por todos!

Our family had a fantastic trip this summer in Colombia with Nick. He was very easy to communicate with over email and video to get all the scheduling details set.
We loved the hiking and seeing so many different parts of the country. Every tour he booked was a 10/10. Even some of the things we weren't sure our young teenagers would enjoy, they raved about. Favorite spots were the bamboo river cruise, inner tubes on a river, cacao plantation hike, Comuna 13, hot springs, jeep rides and bike tour of Bogota. We opted for the boutique hotels and were not disappointed! Nick was great about teaching us history, culture and language in each spot. He was willing to change our itinerary and add things in as we went. Nick is very personable, fun to be with and went out of his way to make our trip memorable. We highly recommend PaisAdventure to get the most out of your next vacation! We are already making plans with him for our next destination. - Ean M. & family, Broomfield, Colorado

There are so many undiscovered and unappreciated parts of our world. Colombia is one of the world's treasures. The life is slower, the Spanish is lyrical, the food hearty and rich, and the people are beyond friendly. Colombians live life on their sleeve, and the streets are alive with noise, music, singing, graffiti, food carts, and people. My trip there was perfect, in part to having part of my trip hosted by my dear friends Marisol Jaramillo Zapata and Nick Pangere. Paisa Adventure Tour company is a must for Colombia! Nick and Marisol are the greatest tour guides, knowledgeable about everything, they make sure that rest, comfort, and discovery are your guides for unlocking Colombia's many layers. They'll take you OFF THE BEATEN PATH for the food, culture, people, and music of every part of Colombia, and now they're even expanding their travels into Europe, Asia Minor, and so many other places. Considering a new travel destination? Check out Paisa Adventure with Nick and Marisol today!!! Highlights: Cafetero (Coffee) region of Colombia Belacazar, Santuario, Belen de Umbria, Pereira, etc.

When traveling it's important to me that I can explore in a relaxed state and not stand out as a tourist at the same time. Paisadventure allowed for me to do that and more! I was able to turn off my travel brain and be part of an incredible tour whereby Nick and his team took care of all the details.

I really appreciated Paisadventure allowing us not only to customize our tour of Colombia but also make room for flexibility when my group wanted to pivot and stay at certain spots longer.

Overall Paisadventure made me feel I was on a tour with friends and family and not just part of some basic tour group. The memories, photo's and experiences will last with me forever. If you are planning to visit and experience Colombia (especially for the first time) than you have to go with Paisadventure.

Nick and Marisol totally renewed my faith in tours. When my husband and I initially approached them about traveling to Colombia with four of our friends, they thoughtfully and patiently listened to what we wanted out of our trip and tailored an itinerary that was a perfect fit. And to say the tour itself exceeded my expectations would be an understatement. From the big things like putting us up in hotels that I still can’t stop raving about to the tiny details like having bottled water for us the entire time, Nick had our backs, and I felt 100% comfortable turning off my brain for 14 days (seriously, my only daily concern was what type of South American wine I should try that night). As a result, for the first time ever, I didn’t feel like I needed a vacation from my vacation when I returned home. I would highly recommend Paisadventure to anyone who wants the perks of vacationing with a guide who knows his/her stuff but doesn’t want to feel like just a number in a large group; with Nick and Marisol, you’ll get an intimate and legitimate Colombian experience with your closest family/friends. Because of them, Colombia now has a piece of my heart, and I have no doubt I’ll be back … but I also have to say that I can’t wait until Paisadventure goes international so I can use them for ALL of my trips. 12 out of 10!

Nick has lived in Colombia for several years and knows the country so well. It was awesome to learn about Colombia and explore a fantastic cross section of this gorgeous country with him as our guide! We did so many amazing things: stayed in Salento and hiked the Cocora Valley; had a coffee tasting at San Alberto in Buenavista (HIGHLY recommend); visited the lovely town of Filandia; learned about Medellin's recent past during the Comuna 13 graffiti tour; climbed El Penon at Guatape; relaxed at Cartagena, Santa Marta and Tayrona Park. Nick planned our excursions expertly with a perfect mix of activities and downtime. We ate fabulous food and our accommodations were extremely comfortable. If you're planning on exploring Colombia, Paisadventure is the company you want, Nick will put together your perfect trip!

Nick is an amazing tour guide and I highly recommend Paisadventure. The Coffee Region of Colombia is absolutely beautiful and it is a must see while in there. This company is great because there is no rush. Everything can be done at a leisurely pace and you never feel rushed. Nick also has great insight into the region, including best places to eat (Helena Adentro - by far, the best place I ate) or quick roadside stands for a snack. Colombia is a must see destination (exchange rate is very favorable to US dollar) and when I return, I will book another tour with Paisadventure.

Nick and Marisol of Paisa Adventures showed our group of friends an amazing time in Pereira and the rest of Colombia Coffee Region. We were amazed at how well everything was taken care of, down to the last detail. Things like amazing hotel bookings in the smallest of villages like Belen, and being able to get us into some amazing locations.

I would refer them any day, head over heels. Guaranteed good prices and a great time you will never forget!

We recently went on a series of private day-tours in coffee country with Paisadventure and it was the highlight of our trip to Colombia by far! Nick, the owner of Paisadventure, was great to work with even before we arrived in Colombia- he was always very prompt to respond, had great suggestions for places to visit and was very accommodating with our schedule. He handled all of the details seamlessly. And once we arrived in coffee country, everything was fantastic from start to finish. All of the activities that Nick had planned for us were incredible, including a hike in the Valle de Cocora, visiting the towns of Salento and Filandia, going to thermal springs and taking an in-depth tour of a coffee farm. Transportation was provided by a very comfortable SUV and Nick had great insider information on the best restaurants, best places to buy souvenirs, etc. Also, Nick was always on time, friendly and personable, professional and had deep knowledge of the area - everything you could want in a tour guide! He was able to give us real insight into the local culture. Overall, a great value and we would definitely do another tour with Nick again! Cannot recommend Paisadventure enough!
