The scale of the Plaza Minorista market can be intimidating but walking through the two floors of vendors is not to be missed. Extraordinary options and tropical fruits for sale at a fraction of what you’d pay in the US or EU. About 2500 venders...More

Went to this market and found it to be very clean, with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables on sale. There are even places to eat here in the basement, and one particular place (Aqui para Lucho) was very nice, and had great local food.

Why to travel so far and end up in a mall? Their is nothing better that enjoy the simple markets, where you can see the beautiful vegetables, fruits, spices and the people in their natural environment
