El Tesoro Centro de Commercial (Mall) - good mall - shopping in Colombia for jewelry sneakers and clothing is more expensive than in the US (as it all needs to be shipped). Food (or anything service related) is much less expensive
If you are visiting and have kids, this is the best mall, as there is a small amusement park - my 6 year old loves it, and it has plenty for a couple hours of entertainment
The mall is like a big "Q". There are two food courts on the circle part level 1 - one is fast food (KFC/Burger King type), the other is sit-down restaurants (Archies is pretty good for thin crust pizza, there is a Peruvian restaurant we like a lot). Second floor of the offshoot line are some more sit-down type restaurants, including a decent steak place.
Holidays are always fun. They go all out for Christmas and the Festival of Flowers. There are often additional attractions for the kids in the common areas
Cinemark - we saw Dr Strange last night in the premier theater ... fully reclining electric seats. Look for movies that say "subtitle" ... those are spoken English. Prices are great, half what you'd pay in the US. (Popcorn ... they have salty or sweet (kinda like crackerjack)
Few other things ...
1. There is normally traffic around the mall - plan a little extra time
2. Great scenic view of the Medellin valley
3. The other good mall is Santa Fe. Both have good movie theaters, El Tesoro is a little better on kids activities and restaurants, but Santa Fe is a little more convenient and has an easy layout
Shoot me a message if you have any questions.
If this was helpful, give me a thumbs up

El Tesero is maybe the biggest mall in the city and it has all of the stores you could possibly want to visit. It's also very well maintained and safe.

Without a doubt the best shopping mall in Medellin. If they don't have it, you don't need it;-) In addition to being an excellent place to shop and dine, the outdoor terrace offers spectacular view of the city. The thoughtfully placed comfy sofas allow you to relax and admire spectacular panoramic view of the whole city. Did I mention a free wifi? You can get there either by taxi or bus 134 from Poblado

El Tesoro Parque was beautiful. So many things to enjoy from cloths to food. The shopping area is clean and very well updated. People are friendly whether your English speaking or Spanish speaking. Best to just see it and enjoy the culture.

This is one of my favorite places which I have been coming to for years. First off the location and design of the property not to mention the views, are excellent and El Tesoro boasts many high end stores, salons, and clothing designers.
A wide variety of many restaurants and one of the best locations for movies (many are in English w/ Spanish subtitles). Every year there is a new interior theme which they are constantly updating to keep it fresh. The only drawback is it is a little out of the way up in the mountains overlooking Poblado and the city but well worth it in my opinion.

El tesoro is a very low key mall.. Love the atmosphere.. People are so nice and ready to help with any questions.. The movie theater is small.. But comfortable!

El Tesoro is an imposing sight, a large rectangular mall with several open courts and even a jungle valley with zipline, trampolines, Ferris wheel and train rides for the kids. From several of the connecting walkways you get breathtaking views of the city.
But the mall management needs to learn a few tricks from the Santa Fe mall just down the hill.
First, they should upgrade the in-mall seating to leather couches and chairs in little clusters. This really helps keep the guys happy while their ladies are spending money in the trendy high-end shops. I did find a few great leather couches in the open breezeways between sections on the upper levels, but they were a fair distance from most stores. So were the nice couches around a table with flowers on it, at the exit from the parkade.
But...oops!
The great free WiFi you would expect in such a ritzy establishment is not there. They have a few free WiFi hotspots around the place, but I was unable to get good coverage in about half of the mall. For example, Tesoro Norte router would not even let me sign on, probably because it was not properly connected to the internet. Other free ones seemed to be unconnected as well.
At Santa Fe mall you get fast wall-to-wall WiFi once you set up a free account.
To their credit, Juan Valdez coffee shop had good WiFi service (and a good mocha latte to go with it).
One more strange feature of El Tesoro still has me baffled: Where is the ENTRANCE for people who arrive there by bus?
We got off the 134i bus (from Poblado Metro station) right outside the Event Center door, and went up the elevator to find the shopping floors. We went back home the same way, after failing to see a better option.
But our search was not entirely in vain. As we meandered we found an out-of-the-way pool hall with card gambling tables and a bar. Both outer walls of the place were floor-to-ceiling glass that could be opened, with full city views.
Just above the pool hall was a furnishing store with very cool glass vases that seemed to be melted into place over branches of dried trees that held them. Beside that was the first automobile dealership I have seen in a mall parkade. Seems like a good idea, when you think about it.
Every stall in the multi-floor parkade had a light above it: red if occupied, green if free, and blue if reserved for the handicapped. The system also told you how many free spaces there were on each floor, saving you time.
The mall's vast size and unusual layout might be a negative for some folks. We found an interactive map/info system on a large LG monitor touch screen. When it showed us the maps of all the levels we felt just as confused as before.
All in all, it was an interesting place to visit. But Santa Fe Mall is far more homey, organized and likely to get our future business.

If you are looking for a place to shop, where it is quieter and you can see the whole city of Medellin. This shopping center is the best option, in addition to the best stores. There is also a wide variety of places to have lunch, dinner and have an afternoon with a view of a beautiful sunset

Does this mall stock European brands such as Givenchy, Fendi etc for clothing. I can’t seem to find any official stores on my google search.

No, this mall does not carry these brands. Andino Mall in Bogota however does carry some of these high end brands.

Hola, ojalá no sea demasiado tarde la respuesta, debes tomar un bus en el parque del poblado sobre la calle 10, ahí suben los buses que van a el tesoro.
