Visiting parque arvi is recommended for everyone visiting medellin. The trip by metrocable is a spectacular journey by itself with nice views over the valley. Parque arvi offers fresh air and beautiful nature, which is a very opportunity to escape the pollution currently present in the city.

A beatific, place outside of the city but rather close. The best way to go there is by the cable, the view is very nice, although it goes to a poor part of town that was nicely transformed with the cable. It Isa natural, park and vegetation is beautiful. There is a nice hotel, and attraction are very nice.

The Metro-Cable ride is a perk to getting to the park. Once there, wander around and enjoy the great outdoors Medellin style. It is green, green, green everywhere and those into hiking and such will love it. We walked on to Santa Elena for lunch. Fortunately, a bus came as we were tired.

Arvi Park is just a great big outdoor Park - massive - containing walks through botanical gardens and tree climbing and airial walks, and stuff. Just the trip to get there is amazing - for us - bus; metro; cable car; bus and to get back = taxi; cable car; bus; taxi

Arvi Park is a really nice place to spend the day, pic-nique, walk arround. If you plan to visit is better to plan all day otherwise is not worth it. It's take 30-40 min to go, from the park ( by restaurant area) you have also a bus coming downtown Medellin.

You are able to get there after 20 minutes of metrocable. It is an amazing place, it was Ester time and there was a local street market on the top. The only thing we recomend is to check website first if you want to visit the park as the tours are scheduled.

You take the cable car and there you see poor houses, happy children running and plying and a vibrant neighborhood. The cable gets almost vertical and you start to wonder if it is a public transport or an amusement park where you are tow up to let you drop then. All of the sudden there is silence and you fly... At the end of the Metrocable - a big bonus. Very small market has incredible fresh fruit, light Colombian meal/snacks, nicknacks, juices & local microbrew beer (jury is out). Tip: if thirsty for beer, take the 10 minute trail down along the backside of the park; walk (3000 pesos). If you choose one of the picnic table stands to kick... More
