So they built this big aquarium but they knew it couldn't rise to the level of so many other cities in terms of super cool sharks or killer whales. So they made it super interactive and fun. Basically it is separated into a bunch of different stations where you go and see or DO. The Doing is the best part.... More

We stopped by here one day with some extra time on our hands, thinking it'd be mostly for kids, but we were wrong. Yes, of course kids would like this, but the exhibits are all very well presented and highly interactive. There's enough in english writeup to understand pretty much all the explanations they are making. The staff are very... More

There is so much to do and to see for the whole family. From the park outside to all sections inside!!. The ticket is also very cheap compare to amount of time that you can easily spend there!

We arrived at 9.30 and left at 4.00 and the kids, age 6 and 9 were complaining we hadn't seen everything - it would take 2 days to see everything fully. Apparently it is based on the San Francisco museum which costs an arm and a leg. This is great value. The staff were also really friendly and helpful -... More

Parque Explora seems to have a little of everything, including a freshwater aquarium with a collection of creatures from Colombia's lakes and rivers (including the Magdalena and the Amazon) that is worth visiting. The facility is essentially a science discovery museum for children of any age, with interactive outdoor science exhibits. There is a small concert auditorium, a huge aerial... More

My wife and I decided to visit the Jardin Botanical gardens and Parque Explora is directly across the street. We both greatly enjoyed the varied exhibits and outdoor attractions but the best for us was the aquarium. This is a must see if you are visiting Medellin.

This is a complex of museums, geared towards adults and children. The architecture housing the museum is exceptional on it's own and the museums are all well done. We spent the entire day here exploring, it's well worth the visit. Also, our admission was only $14 to see everything, you can't beat that!!

No matter how old you are this place is really interesting!!! Many cool activities that blow your mind! The aquarium is huge and has many large fish inside.... If you love dinosaurs there are many of them on the first floor. You need at least 5 hours to finish all the exhibitions, so come early.
