Beautiful, peaceful oasis in the the middle of the city

Impressive, free place to go for a picnic or to walk around solo or with friends. It's a quiet, tranquil place

The garden is a nice place to walk around. The highlight was the butterfly house where you can see beautiful butterflies for free. The boardwalk was also very pleasant.

It's nice to see that the locals use it more like a regular park for a picnic, birthday party, weddings. But to see special plants, trees, vegetation. A bit disappointing..

OMG! Beyond beautiful! Really big, huge orchids to tiny, little itty bitty gorgeaous ones. All more colorful than the next. How can anyone judge such natural beauty? GOD is amazing; his creation of nature & women, enough said

When you are in Medellin, this park is one of the many things you have to visit! It can be crowded at times but it's beautiful. it has great spot where you can sit under big wooden trees, it's art but it's so nice and perfectly suits the environment. If you are lucky you encounter the Iguanas which live in... More

The raised walkway through the forest was interesting and cool. I can recommend a visit to the butterfly house and the cacti zone. Overall though the experience was that of walking though shaded areas which might not have been in a botanic garden. Being the weekend there were many people there just relaxing. More like a public park than a... More

We went there to spend the afternoon but this was Fiesta de las Flores and the place was absolutely crowded which make impossible to enjoy the visit.

Not huge by any means but a pleasant walk. Good gift store, snacks with ice cream, and a lovely restaurant. There is also a small nursery.

I came to Medellin to see the annual orchid show. It was nice with a variety of orchids, but the garden was full of many other fliers as well. It also has a fine dining restaurant, though we did not try it. In addition there is a full market place with anything one would want to buy. Lots of fun.
