I have visited Finca La Leona 2 times as I was very impressed on my very first visit in February 2017 with my family. My daughter even made a project about growing and making coffee for her classmates in Slovakia. The venue is simply spectacular, you feel like in the paradise. And Mr. Fabian is absolutely knowledgable, passionate and knows how to explain even the smallest details. You can feel that it encompasses his life and he truly dedicates everything to his finca. It is a magical place to visit!!!

I really enjoyed the guide energy to explain everything about coffee planting and industry. The visit is a must during Medellin visit; it's also cheap and not far from the center

We had such a great time learning all about coffee! Fabian is so passionate about his job that he passes it to anyone he talks to. Though near Medellin, the farm is high enough in the mountains to make you think you're in a remote location. Fabian was the most welcoming host ever and took us through every step of coffee making. It was so interesting and the farm is gorgeous! We also enjoyed some great coffee. Much better value than the other tours we looked at and we were the only ones! Thanks for your hospitality Fabian!

Only a 30 minutes drive from our hotel in El Poblado and you feel like you’re a world away on a small coffee plantation.

Fabian the owner and farmer is so excited/enthusiastic and knowledgeable about coffee. His attitude is contagious.

It’s a small coffee farm that has been in his family for 2 generations now.

A fun hands on experience, you go and learn all the steps of how a coffee been goes from a seed, to a small tree, to picking, sorting, drying and all the way through grinding and brewing into your cup.

Extremely reasonably priced. $50,000 per person ($15 USD) and the Uber ride was about $15,000 ($5 usd) one way. And then Fabian called us a taxi to get back to our hotel.

He does a few tours a day. This was just me and my friend on this tour.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
