Easy and Reliable. Very Pleased!
I needed transportation to the airport during the quarantine and the driver arrived 15 minutes earlier than scheduled and was very friendly. Driving was safe and we made it to the airport without any problems. He even waited outside the door to ensure that we got in the airport without any issues (because of the quarantine they were checking IDs and boarding passes at the doors). I was very impressed and am going to use Medellin Transfer Service when we return in May. Thank you so much!

Driver was very friendly. Was able to login to airport Wi-Fi, then whatsapp directly with the driver who sent a picture of the car. Then at the airport we were able to negotiate pick up on the first floor, door one.

Excellent service, above and beyond
I used Medellin Airport transfer, I found this company excellent. They were waiting for me at the airport with a nice car to transfer me to my hotel. I found my flight home was moved up an hour and I reached out to see if they could change my pickup to an hour early. They were very accommodating. Excellent company, I highly recommended them. On my next trip here, I will definitely use there service!

Super accommodating and reliable.

They were super accommodating to me. I booked in advance and had to change my plans the day of due to a knee injury. At first, I canceled my initial pickup but then was able to reschedule it for a different time once I got a flight home. They didn't charge me for any changes (even though they would be well within their rights to do so) and they were so helpful. Thanks for not adding stress to an already very stressful situation.

I selected this agency at random and boy did I luck out ! They were fantastic! Received confirmation by text of when and where the driver would meet me, along with the driver’s name. Waiting for me at the airport on my arrival and assisted with my luggage and whisked me off to my hotel! Oscar was a great driver. On my return the driver was Johny and he too was very helpful and professional! I will certainly use them anytime I return to Medellin!

Excellent, reliable service

I've been using this service for several years. They are excellent. Reliable and flexible, they make getting to and from the airport much easier. Their drivers are always polite and professional. I've flown into Medellin about 8 times. I wouldn't use any other service or cab.

You cannot take a taxi out of Medellin airport and my hotel would not arrange a car, so I used this service.

It's not a black car, and my driver did not speak English (some reviews here indicated that theirs did)

Otherwise this was an amazing experience, driver was prompt, very friendly and dealt with my broken spanglish.

I am booking with the same driver for when I finish my stay in Medellin and return to hotel.

Used them twice with solid service

Without knowing the city or exactly what I was in for... I hired Medellin Airport Transfer to transport 4 adults and a ton of luggage from the airport to our apartment. I wasn't able to arrange a van online so I emailed with the staff. It was super easy. The only thing that didn't work perfectly was once we arrived at the airport we were told a person would have a sign with our name. Instead the driver contacted me via WhatsApp and coordinated where to get picked up. This worked fine but not what we were expecting. The transport worked so well I arrange the return trip to the airport. Same driver and van which made it really easy. Worked exactly as I had hoped. Would definitely use them again and would recommend them. I would also advise travelers to have WhatsApp available. Many organizations use this for coordinating with their customers.

Guatape/El Penol Tour - Excellent / Airport Transfer - Not as Great

I split the difference with four owl eyes

On the good side - the day trip to Guatape was a great bang for the buck. Much less expensive than other tour operators but the driver doesn't speak English. No problem. With a few basic words and Google translate we managed just fine. He was on time at our hotel, the car was SUV sized as promised and the driver was patient with no rushing us through the day.

Airport transfer was a little shakier - the quality of the cars was questionable. We had two cars as we were traveling four people with luggage. On the ride in from the airport, the one seat belt basically broke as we tried to engage it. For the ride back to the airport, the driver asked my friend to sit in the front seat. On each ride, the drivers asked for different information and had us sign different forms. I get these sense that these are contractors and the cars are just private vehicles. Could be wrong, but all signs pointed that way.

Wrong choice. Next time I'll try a different service (after checking to see if the tires have treads).

The website claimed that the drivers speak English. Mine didn't so immediately it felt like a bait and switch.

The return trip to the airport was my worst transfer experience, ever. It had been raining so the roads were wet (too wet for tread-free tires to navigate safely). On at least four occassions the car couldn't make it up the hill. Tires were spinning and smoking without gaining traction. Then the clutch started to slip, as well. The driver would put on his hazard lights, back down the hill, and give it another go. All while oncoming traffic had to swerve to avoid hitting us. We eventually made it to the airport after 4 or 5 episodes of inadequate traction.

Based on the false language claim and the unsafe vehicle and driver, I would not use this transfer service again. I paid a premium to essentially experience a harrowing journey on what should have been a routine trip.

Happy With Our Choice

Happy with choosing this service, I didn’t use any yellow cabs while in Medellín so I can’t really compare the convenience factor. Yes the price is higher for this service but as far as I’m concerned it was well worth it. Driver was waiting right outside arrivals with my name on paper, easy transfer to hotel. The way back same thing. Driver was on time with pickup, courteous & safe.
I will say though neither driver spoke English which wasn’t the end of the world but just difficult to communicate. Reading some other reviews I was paranoid about the drivers not showing up on time (or at all) so I messaged Julianna on whatsapp to confirm both transfers. She was very prompt with responses and very helpful. I definitely recommend this service strictly for the seamless and stress free experience.

Very punctual and comfortable

The international airport Medellín is situated about 35 kilometers from El Poblado. Upon my arrival at the airport the driver waited for me with a sign with my name on it. With a comfortable car he drove me in about 1 hour to my hotel.
A few days later I had to go back to the airport, and the driver did again a very punctual and comfortable job ! Roundtrip cost about US$ 70.00, and that's a very good bargain.
Highly recommended !

Airport Transfer and Guatape/El Penol Tour

Medellin Airport Transfer is the tops. To and from were great rides and no hassle. I even had to move my airport return the night before and it was no problem. The vehicles are nice and cozy too.

My wife and I booked a Guatape/El Penol tour with them too. It was awesome. Christian was a great host and took us everywhere we wanted to go. We even got out on the water.

The service was awesome and I would highly recommend. All drivers spoke only a little English, but my wife is fluent. Be aware, but don't let it deter you.

Great service and I would highly recommend.
