Fernando gave my group the greatest experience at this museum. He was enthusiastic with his explanations and gave us a true feel of how things used to be when Pablo Escobar was alive and after his death. I would love to go to any museum with Fernando explaining the history due to him keeping us interested and providing details about the history. I HIGHLY recommend coming here to learn the history about Pablo Escobar.

We thought we knew a lot after watching Narcos on Netflix. Our tour guide William proved us wrong, he was very knowledgeable. We did the car and museum tour. The car was bulletproof and 3 times heavier than a normal car, William expertly drove it around Medellin and showed us all the sites of significance. Please include this in your trip to Medellin!

This museum is an interesting place that can be viewed as both, informative and recreational tourist destination if you are passing by medellin.

It is located in “ El poblado”. This property used to be an actual hiding spot for ESCOBAR and now it is acomódales as a museum.

All the guides offer an extensive knowledge about the history and are bilingual. Eng/spa

At the end of my tour in the museum I couldn’t believe that I was able to meet Nicolas Escobar. He actually sat down with me and shared a coffee and a conversation. I found him to be a humble and charismatic person. The staff and Nicolas made sure I left with a good experience from the museum.

This has to be in your go to visit list!!âś…

Me and my friend took this took with Laura and she explained a lot of the history and took us through the stories of Pablo. The museum is small, but you get a lot of information on his real life and family life. It only took about an hour and I would recommend it.

Jairo greeted us and toured the backyard of the house where there are vehicles, photos, murals, and other items actually used by Pablo Escobar and his family. The inside is a gift shop, which can be disconnecting as first, but it was worth seeing the property. The interior was not available because apparently it's occupied by Pablo's nephew... His English was excellent and he knew a lot of information.

It seems many Colombians just don't want to admit that this man existed. They, apparently, are fearful that Escobar will be viewed as a 1980's "Robin Hood." These preceptions are in the eyes of the beholder. The museum does a good job at portraying this evil man as what he was-evil;.

This is definitely a must see if you wish to learn about Pablo Escobar. Museum is in a former safe house of his. Has his crashed helicopter, bulletproof cars (you can knock on the window and see the difference for yourself), and many other things. We pulled up in an Uber and an employee immediately came to greet us. About $20 for the tour.
