Fun, nice landscape, nice restaurants, and you can go to the Tolima snow mountain. Horse riding, 4wheel motorcycles, and lots of desserts.

Love this local bus trip for hiking, lunching and splashing in the rio Combeima. Really lovely 1/2 day trip or longer from Ibagué - easiest way there is the juntas bound bus along Cra 1

It's a nice few hours out , walking around and then going to the mirador. The mirador itself isn't so great in my opinion. The views are ok but the river is all dried up and the scenery has been spoilt by many selfish people...More

Really nice area with a chance of seeing all three endemic birds of the area plus some other beautiful birds. View to Nevados del Tolima is great on a clear day.

JUst 10 minutes away from Ibague, you can enjoy a paradise place to see the nature and mountains. You can enjoy the food with several restaurants there and you can walk and see the nevado del tolima.

I went with a group of friends and we spent a wonderful time. The food at the hotel the other side of the canyon is very good.

We had a hire a cabbie for the day to take us along the road which leads up to the top of the Canyon. When there, we rode the teleferico across to a pleasant, though empty farm/resort. The cable cars here are not as "robust"...More

Make sure you go ready to eat great typical food in a relax environment. There are plenty of good places to stop and enjoy the great mountains. During holidays the traffic can get very heavy in the afternoon.
