I stopped here during a trip to Cartagena to see some art and have a cup of coffee. It us beautiful inside, with nice visits and a lovely bit of garden around the central well.

It won’t take you long to tour it but you will enjoy it! I was wishing I had the cash to take a couple of the paintings home’

we spent many hours laughing in the courtyard of this beautiful hotel/gallery. it was one of my favorite places we visited in cartagena.

the park-like setting is so unexpected as well as amazing and needed after a day of strolling around in the heat.

strolling around looking at the different art they have installed in the small galleries was also relaxing and easy.

their cold brew coffee can't be missed. it has soda water and lemon and it is something that will be added to my summer mornings back in the states.

loved this place + highly recommend it!

Summary: hidden gem, awesome courtyard, great, amazing coffee, must try limonada de café and soda de cafe. Support local artist by visiting gallery!

We stumbled upon this jewel while searching for a food court. The grand entrance offered a glimpse at a beautiful courtyard with mature trees. Upon entering the peace and serenity of the courtyard along with the sound of trickling water from the fountain invited us to explore.
I stumbled upon Oscar who is the barista at the café and he explained that the art gallery, courtyard and café was open to public and invited us to view the art.
Once finished we went to the café which is located at a corner of the building and found Oscar tending to his cold drip coffee. He kindly explained the process and provided further information on what the café offers. We signed up for a coffee tasting the next day.
The experience was great! Oscar is a super knowledgeable barista and left us with a lot of information on brewing techniques, roasting qualities, and how to really get the most out of a good cup of coffee. I highly recommend dropping by to experience a great atmosphere and learn about coffee. Lastly, the café has two amazing REFRESHING drinks which are patented and unique to this place. Limonada de café and café soda. Both great options to get your caffeine kick!

The place is centre of a few free exibitions, concerts and there is also a nice coffee shop inside. The colonial building itself is very nice.

It was fun to see this giant historic building with its center courtyard structure and large colonnades. You can see what I would classify as experimental and conceptual art as well. For most, I suspect, the exhibitions won't hold your attention, but take a stroll through the building. I think they do good work for young artists in the city.

La Presentations invites you to visit their art exhibits, have coffee and stay for free events! It's a stunning house in the Old City, offering musical events, arts and coffee under one roof. I attended a gospel concert and loved every minute of it. Can't wait to attend many more events, drink more coffee and enjoy the various exhibits!

This is the second time I have visited this gallery, they have revolving artists featured, always interesting, plus, had to go back and see the recycled bottle chandelier in the main entranceway. The gallery is just a couple rooms on the first floor with a beautiful garden area, great for an afternoon snack or cold beverage!

I love this museum, mostly because it's always free! The building is a beautiful colonial space that I think resembles some 5-star hotels in Cartagena. I love just coming to sit and relax in the indoor patio or going to the cafe if I need to get work done and use the wi-fi.
