Me and my group of six enjoyed the South of Baru tour. It was amazing being able to interact with the children and locals of the remote village and then being able to end it with a beautiful lounge on secluded beach. Olinto was very...More
This was one of my favorite days in Colombia. Olinto made it special with his enthusiasm for the area. He’s given this tour many times but it felt like it was the first time he was sharing a place that is very special to him....More
Thanks to our dear guide Olinto, dry forest hike was one of the most memorable experiences we had during the time we spent in the Caribbean region of Colombia. Oli, kind enough to react on a very short notice and adjust the trip to our...More
An excellent combination between culture and beaches.
We were traveling with a friend and on our third day in Cartagena, we wanted to see more than just beaches, so we decided to do the Barú Island tour. It was an amazing experience. When we arrived...More

As tourists, we often travel to many places as if we were walking through a gallery of landscapes, without really connecting with the community we are visiting. If you really want to get to know a place, I think you need to know its culture,...More

A friend and I are going to Cartagena in a few weeks looking for options for a boat trip to Islas del Rosario for the day. Someone recommended Taroa Adventures, but they aren't doing trips until the end of February. We are in our late 20's and would like being with other young people on a boat, but would like to avoid any large tourist boat trips. Budget for the day would be $100 US or less per person. We want a fun experience and to be with other people around our age. Thanks!

So after I told not only my parents, my family but also friends and people at work that I am planning to go to Colombia everybody’s reaction was: Why?! I always felt like I am just more adventure seeking than the people I know around me. Plus I really heard amazing things. I also heard such amazing things about colombia’s nature, the people and the food hahah I always loved nature and being active and move around than just lying on a beach for days and days. So thats what I loved when I...More

I usually get the same reaction from my friend and family circle. However, I love going to countries that are less visited and have some kind of rough history. I'll be going for 3 weeks with one of my friends visiting Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena and San Andres. Your story makes me look forward to the trip. Which day trip did you do with Tarao?
