This city is so beautiful. There are shops, restaurants, churches inside. We tried a popsicle shop that was great. They have a market with shops.

This is basically the old island where Cartegana was established. The wall was built to keep out the invaders over time. Beautiful part of the old city. Worth the walk through. It has become a major shopping and restaurant area.

First off, this city is gorgeous... the architecture is mind blowing, the verandahs and flowers and street art are breath taking. This is a city with a rich history that you can feel and see. However, beware, it is very touristy, and therefore expensive.

Beautiful Cartagena de Indias! Every corner with a colorful historic houses, beautiful restaurants. Weather is too hot in May. Stayed at Tcherassi Hotel and Spa, a 5 star highly recommended hotel, clean, beautiful decor, and georgeoys rooftop area.

We (2 female 22-year-olds) had a blast here! There's a lot to see and plenty to eat, but just be aware of your surroundings. There are people everywhere trying to sell you stuff, and you have to be assertive. It's helpful to have some Spanish...More

I think there are two places you should focus on visiting: the old city and The Castillo San Felipe. The Castillo looks better at night. If you cannot do strenuous walks, you'll find people in the old city with carriages and... More
